The only reason we should trade Dougie is for Quinn Hughes. Palat and Mercer need to go first.
Master plan should be to get rid of Hamilton in two years to make room for Quinn not now need him well if they can get Quinn now guess that works idk
If you can keep Palat you do it his value in the locker room is valuable plus hes a proven winner and has that pedigree you need to win in this league.
I wouid hate to lose Mercer but hes the 1 and Hamilton whom i never liked from when he 1st came into the league with Boston. Hes soft and injury prone as is Jack Hughes i hope Jack put on 10 pounds of muscle over the summer ☀️ he cant just skate around and not expect to get nailed and hes not built for playoff hockey at this point in his career.

I don't want to see Dougie traded for Quinn or another Defenseman. Hamilton is the team's best trade piece. Why use it to upgrade the D from an A to an A+ when you could upgrade the offense from B to an A- .
Dougie Hamiltonn can go without a doubt and he won't be missed.
