The Montreal Canadiens Stole a BEAST
I created this video to show that the Montreal Canadiens just made a sneaky-good move by trading for Zachary Bolduc—and fans NEED to pay attention. He was a wrecking ball in the playoffs against the Jets, throwing massive hits and making life miserable for opponents. Now he’s bringing that physical fire to Montreal. In this video, I break down why Bolduc is one of the most underrated young players in the NHL and how his game could be a perfect fit for the Habs’ future. This might be the steal of the summer!

Look at the energy he had with the blues. Now imagine Saturday night at the bell center.
Great job dude
not exactly a steal. st louis got a good offensive dmen out of it.
Do not forget Dobson does not play defense, stick checks But like his Quebec JR coach says he will not hit anybody! Bolduc sounds like sandpaper with a scoring touch.
He is more of a middle six! Don’t get too exited!
You sound like the Alberta accent guy on Instagram hah
BOLDUC – KUZNETSOV – DEMIDOV
Very informative.
As a Habs fan im happy with trade. But Blues got a great young player too.
Bolduc wentv17th, Mailbox could of went top 10
'The next step'…win 2 playoff games. JJ
or
Be 'in the mix' , in May!!
That's not too much to ask, is it? Yes, I know I sound like a jackass but you know what a cheap
Mule has?
At least one JackEye.
So, if Bolduc could be the forward version of Arber, (in the hitting and intensity categories), Plus, score around 20. I would be happyish 😉
C'est un gars du coin / Local guy too right?
The way he plays, and the current team/CH org in general, it's a perfect fit man. Plus, he has one year left of his current Blues contract to show what he can bring to help the team win long term. Can't wait to see, but TBH I think he could be a good winger on a line with Demidov on the other side.
Dach will be a top 6 player imho, and will prove it once and for all this year, but maybe not a pure center. Still, management did so much smart moves to improve the team anywhere else to, in part, remove some defensive pressure on a line that will eventually have to become a 1b line.
If only they could find a way to not use that last Price contract year on LTIR. They need to trade that last year to an under capped team like the Sharks before it's too late.
I thought one of the two would have happened already…
If they are forced like last year to use LTIR on it, it will reduce by around 8M from bonuses on our max cap for the 26-27 season (cap will increase in general by then, but for everyone. We still gonna have 8M or more sitting around for nothing for a season. We're gonna need it for some important signings. It's why they are avoiding it unless there isn't a choice. It's a no brainer for the Shark and 1, maybe 2 other teams, you give a 3rd and 5th, you get a 4th back, and they take on that last contract year that is almost all paid by insurance anyway. Sharks reach the cap without spending anything, we avoid using LTIR and thus don't have stuff like bonuses against your cap rolled over to the next season. Win Win.
No idea what's "blocking" that trade tbh. Maybe they are seeing an opportunity to make it part of a bigger trade, IDK, but it's probably what they are focusing on in particular these days.
Even if cap compliant when season starts, you don't want to have like 2M in cap leeway; more like 6M, and 8-10M once it goes up more for everyone…
What do you guys think?
Yet most Canadiens fans I talk to expect to see him on the second line with Ivan Demidov instead of Patrik Laine….so I'm not sure they are rating him lower than you do considering you say he's a bottom six with top six potential.
He's going to score 30 goals if he plays with Demidov.
Boy, the up and down tone of your voice is so annoying. 😅
