  1. I am not a big fan of his. I am starting to think he does not actually watch or follow the Hawks. He seems to still be living in the cup era of the Hawks.

  2. I agree with a lot of what this guy says. Vlasic averages less than one hit per game which is an embarrassment especially considering his size. So far Bedard has not been what he was billed to be. His sophomore season was less impressive than his rookie season. I also agree he should not be playing center and so far he hasn’t played like a future captain.

  3. It killed me that the Hawks missed the brass ring in the last two drafts. From the start, I didn't believe Bedard had what it takes to be a first-line center. Bedard is a great guy to add to the team, but not a guy to build a team around. There's still time, but at some point in the next couple of years, the Hawks will need to find a legit stud first-line center.

  4. Does this guy know the current team at all? Enough to know that Bedard had nothing around him for him to get points? Kaner/Toews had Sharp, Byfuglien , Lang, Havlat, Keith, Seabrook (and Crawford) their ROOKIE season. Who did 98 have? During the transition away from Chelios, the Hawks only got into the playoffs in 1997 (Chelitos was traded in 1999) then it took till 2002 and then finally again in 2009. Look at the gaps there… 4 years and 6 years with no playoffs… did people forget this?

No offense but off the cuff, this guy sounds like he only watches a team when they win. Then he jumps on board.
