This, to me, is the piece the Stars have been missing. A big, physical defenseman who has the skills to contribute in the offensive zone, can play smart area defense in transition, AND be a serious physical presence in front of the net and on the boards.
I agree, but I want to see him fight. I want to know if he can go, or not. Not saying he needs to be an inforcer, just want to know if it’s “go time” will he go. He’s had a couple of chances and didn’t drop. 🤔
You know what's really sad? The Swiss national team head coach (Patrick Fischer) Said he won't let Bichsel play in the National team for at least 3 years. Why? Because Bichsel, a young up-and-coming talent chose to focus on his career in the NHL rather than representing Switzerland in a single U20 game. What kind of idiocy is that from Fischer?

Some hockey pundits think the Stars should deal Bischel. I don’t ever want to see that kid in anything but a Stars jersey.
