Great video ! I think taking basically a fwd that lost a step off the D (#65) and adding ANY actual defense man can only help.

Incorrect. St Ivany debuted in the 2023-24 season and was actually their best defender for a few months. He didn't start well in the 2024-25 season. He'll be fine. Defenders take time.
so like i fricking said BEFORE they traded for him, with 3 aging stars, this team isn't going to compete for a cup so WHY trade a first for EK? SJ drafted Sam Dickinson who's going to be a stud in the nhl for a very long time. dubas doing dubas things……

Fantastic takes. I missed the live stream. I especially loved the comments about the job Dubas has done. He was brought here to attempt a quick re-tool off the rip. More importantly, however, he was brought here for the transition out of the Crosby, Malkin, Letang era which I think he has been doing a fantastic job at. We have 17 picks in the top 3 rounds from 2026-2028! The future of Penguins hockey is bright and I am excited.

Dumba doesn't really matter. They picked up another draft pick. 👍 They may be able to flip Dumba at the deadline for something too, even if they have to eat a tiny bit of his contact to make the paperwork work.

I really wanna see someone like St. Ivany under any coach other than Sully.
