honestly im still in some shock over the Trouba trade. as a Flyers fan i kind of wouldve liked for us to have picked him up, but after i heard HOW that staff got trouba to waive his clause i was just mad. like yeah hockey is a business but what the hell? seriously guys?

The Rangers have J.T. Miller on their team. That locker room is SO MUCH worse now that he’s present. In the long run, J.T. Miller will 100% be a net negative on the team and chaos will once again ensue. No one wants him there to be honest. No one wants him anywhere.

4:20 when the Rangers visit the Ducks game at the Honda center. I met some Rangers fan and ask them a joke, my joke is why many rangers fan come here to watch their team play. The answer is bc they come here to watch their ex player including their ex captain. The joke so hard that some see me and boo me after the game end bc of that joke. I would say the whole reason for the collapse of rangers is none other than James Dolan the owner of the team (he basically next gen of Harrod Ballard)
Everything that happened was necessary, team had a yacht club mentality. If you don't do you job in the real world you get fired without millions to fall back on, happy Trouba found a home in Anaheim but the trade needed to happen. They will have a bounce back season. Plenty of talent on that roster.

Drury mishandled the Trouba and Goodrow situations. As soon as Trouba said he wouldn't report to another team, that's breach of contract.
Drury should've never let a lame duck captain that he tried to trade come in for the following season…who does that? The players should've gotten over their friends getting traded. That's what the money is for!
I think both the Bruins and Rangers are in a spiral down the standings over the next few seasons. Montreal played really well and the team they beat for that playoff spot has done nothing but improve as well. Columbus has big questions in net but they scored a ton of goals and didn't lose any key pieces. Carolina, Columbus, Jersey and Washington will top 4 in the Metro. I like Morrow as good lowkey addition and Gavrikov is an elite defender. The Rangers are going to be better than Philly, Pittsburgh and the Isles but I just don't see them beating those other 4 teams.

Mabye Ranger fans can confirm this but i remember hearing it started with getting rid of Goodrow. Guess he was a big piece in the locker room? Granted moving one player shouldn't destroy a team but it can certainly disrupt the chemistry. I also wonder how much the Panarin accusation affected the room. It has to suck trying to play wondering if it will get leaked to the press.

And so he was rewarded with an extension instead of being fired.
Every single player in the league saw how the Rangers treat their players which means no one of talent is coming to play for us so long as Drury remains.
Which means they're stuck with the players they have.
The ones who quit last December. 🤷♂️

I couldn't agree more. I don't blame the players one bit for being upset with how Drury mishandled Goodrow and Trouba, and treated them like shit while doing so. He treated Goodrow like shit by bypassing NTC and placing him on waivers only for him to be claimed by the Sharks despite the fact that they were on his NTC. He even brought Trouba's wife into the Trouba debacle by leaking her medical residency even though she has epilepsy, and was battling epilepsy that same July when she was pregnant.
And it isn't only Kakko, Goodrow and Trouba. Jimmy Vesey, Zac Jones, and Calvin De Haan all publicly spoke out about the way they were being treated by Drury. You could have the Florida Panthers roster instead of this core and even they would have still struggled under Drury's rogue toxic workplace. Not to mention Peter Laviolette has left every team he has coached in ruins and this season shows, but Drury chose to hire him to replace Gerard Gallant over Kris Knoblauch even after Lavi ruined the Washington Capitals. It's a shame Dolan rewarded Drury with that extension. The sooner Drury is gone, the sooner the better. He is the worst GM in franchise history bar none.
them waiving barclays goodrow was just impactful amongst the players as the trouba trade. don't ask me why, moving their 4th line $3.6 M center seems like a pretty good move to me but that just shows how weak this team is. stamkos was lowballed and traded but god forbid barclay goodrow is moved.
