    6. Carter Bear
    5. Cossa
    4. MBN
    3. Trey Augustine
    2. Nate Danielson
    1. Axel Sandin Pellikka

  3. Probably is at least 4-5 years away. Dylan Larkin will be 32-33 by then. So it's cutting it close if you believe Larkin is part of the core that you will win with

  4. Jesse Kiskinen will be the most dangerous scoring forward prospect. He wore the Gold helmet last season In Finland 🇫🇮

Excluding Buchelnikov of course (Boo-chell knee kov), that kids got some skills. Hopefully he can one day escape 🇷🇺

  5. Ranked after NHL readiness (currently)

    1. ASP (2nd pairing)
played in the SHL against adults for 2.5 years
voted twice as the best defenseman in the JWC,
voted as the best defenseman in the SHL
very good on the power play
has a strong shot and is a fast skater

    2. Buchelnikov (top 6 player)
played in the KHL against adults for 2.5 years
    super passer
fast skater and a goal threat

    3. MBN (mid-6 player)

    strong on the boards

    4. Danielson (mid-6 player)
played 1 season in the AHL
    playmaker
    good in the neutral zone
    fast skater

    5. Kiiskinen (mid-6 player)
played 1 season in the Liiga against adults
Scored 44 points in 46 games
    Has a strong shot

    6. Bear (mid-6 player)
    High hockey IQ
good playmaker with a drive to score
    fast skater

    7. Augustine (2nd/3rd)
played 2 seasons in the NCAA
    quick reactions
    can influence games
very good goaltending stats (last season .924%)

    8. Johansson (3rd pairing)
    stable and solid RD
    a defending Defenseman
5 points in 11 games in the AHL

    9. Mazur (bottom 6 player)
2-way player who also scores goals
    Works hard

    10. Cossa (3rd/4th)
    is very tall
    good work with his stick
positive goaltending stats (.911% last season)
Is an instinctive goalie, which can have advantages and disadvantages

    ————————————–
    Why these aren't included

    11. Lombardi (C)
a very good player who lacks height

    12. Genborg (LW/RW)
very good bottom 6 player, needs another 1-2 years, has high potential

    13. Walinder (LD)
inconsistencies in the game, does his job quite well

    14. Plante (C)
good passer, needs at least 2-3 years to develop

    15. Dower-Nilsson (LW/C/RW)
a versatile player who has never been able to show his potential due to injuries, he should actually be ranked much higher.

    16. Buium (LD)
he lacks physical play, does his job quite well.

    17. Tuomisto (RD)
works hard, has a good shot, does his job quite well.

    18. Leonard (LW/RW)
An older player (26 years old) compared to the other players, physically strong.

    19. Guimond (G)
a calm player who knows exactly what he's doing. Very good goaltending stats (.940% last season), but still needs 1-3 years in the AHL.

    20. Finnie (C/LW)
a workhorse on the ice, very good potential, a pain for opponents.

  6. I think Cossa has the higher ceiling, Augustine has the higher floor. But Augustine may have a better chance of reaching his ceiling.

  7. I wonder if Augustine's decision to stay at MSU influenced the Wing's changing goalie coaches this summer? Hopefully Augustine turns pro next spring and we have healthy competition in net in GR next season.

  8. 7:47 No, Kiiskinen wont come over to this upcoming season, it's been official for a while now that he (aswell as Anton Johansson for the same reason) will be going back to their european teams next year because of how the contracts are structured there. They have to go back because that is their clauses in the contracts signed in SHL and SM-Liiga, if they arnt playing in the NHL, their contracts have to be honored.

  9. Shows how good the prospect pool still is because I was pretty confident max plante would be on the list with how well he played as a freshman, great lists though I have four honorable mentions kind of three because mazur played one pro shift I still have him as a prospect, but him max plante, emit finnie and shai buium

  10. You all can check to verify, I have been saying for over a year that Buchelnikov can end up being a better passer than Adam Oates….and can score. IMO, Danielson is dropping; and Cossa will be a bust. Cossa is lacking fast twitch muscles critical for Goalies. Hope I am wrong there.

  11. I agree mostly and u def think asap has that potential well I mean if he does any of what he’s already doing wow if they add in a player like heck man they can toss him anywhere- I have to see how he does defensively- all these players need to show the pride and what they are next year if we are down 1-4 in the 3rd I want ti see some gloves off they really do need to be harder to play against – keep the class but we need that guy out there every team does let MO do his thing this year he’s a defender that game 1 can shut down whoever – game 2 levels a few players 3 game 3 he can score assist what ever needs to be done having him in shutdown mode and afraid to take penalties that’s bad I get why last year but yeah cheers

  12. My top 15 Detroit Red Wings prospects:

    1. Axel Sandin Pellikka
    2. Nate Danielson
    3. Carter Bear
    4. Amadeus Lombardi
    5. Dmitri Buchelnikov
    6. Max Plante
    7. Trey Augustine
    8. Michael Brandsegg-Nygård
    9. Sebastian Cossa
    10. Jesse Kiiskinen
    11. Michael Svrcek
    12. Anton Johansson
    13. William Wallinder
    14. Shia Buium
    15. Carter Mazur

  13. I think you guys are still super low on buch. dudes ceiling is kucherov and i think hes more likely to hit that ceiling than not, given the fact that his performance this season was in arguably the second best league in the world. for me its:
    1. ASP
    2. Buchelnikov
    3. Danielson
    4. Cossa
    5. Augustine
    6. MBN
    7. Lombardi
    8. Bear
    9. Kiskinen
    10. Plante

  14. Not all but most goalies are late bloomers. The mental doesn’t develop as quickly as the physical skills. I’m very high on Cossa and I think the organization is too. He’s also miles ahead of Augustine, I think. Be patient on the goalies, most unpredictable position.

  15. In a list excluding goalies, I’d put Bear at #3 behind ASP then Danielson. Tenacity, hockey IQ, and skill will allow him to play anywhere in the lineup and contribute in many ways. That’s valuable.

  16. If im Yzerman im calling Buffalo right now and seeing what they want for Dahlin, Owen Power or Byram. Even Tage Thompson im asking for cause all those guys would impact this team right now and push them into a playoff spot
