Pierre McGuire on the Evander Kane trade, Canucks off-season and more
Former NHL Executive and Co-Host of the Eye Test Podcast Pierre McGuire joined the guys and shared his thoughts on the Evander Kane trade and what he wants to see the Canucks do over the next week.

Pierre has never said anything bad about anybody.. Im not ragging on him…He's a class act.. Im not going to take a whole lot stock in what he says about a guy with priors.. And Canada will try to justify anybody playing for a Canadian team..

The Oilers dumped kane for a FOURTH round pick. He.s is a POS, the biggest cheap shot artist, will never fight and can divide any locker room faster than any player in the league. What a LOSER
Kane is the very definition of a power forward. He plays hard, hits, goes hard in the corners, skates well, protects his teammates, can score and can fight. There is not many of those type of guys in the NHL. Brady Tkachuk, Kane and Tom Wilson are cut from the same cloth.
Low risk if you don’t look at the drama surrounding him. Ya, there wasn’t any on the oilers, but that’s because he wasn’t relied on or the superstar. No way he competes with Draisaitl and McDavid, but on the Canucks with a limping EP40, it’s gonna be awful. Time for season 2 of the drama known as The Canucks.
Anyone else in the States notice how Brian Boucher often leaves Eddie Olczyk dangling in uncomfortable silence on the television broadcast in the exact same manner as Edzo would do to McGuire?

Ive been a Kane guy from his Jr days. Yes he's had some issues, but he's proven that it's behind him. Hope to see him finish his career here at home.
As an oilers fan, im sad to see him go, but im glad hes going to another Canadian team. Im happy to see such a good player staying in Canada.
