Aleksander Barkov Could Make NHL HISTORY
#aleksanderbarkov #barkov #floridapanthers
I created this video to show that Aleksander Barkov and the Florida Panthers are chasing a third straight Stanley Cup—and if they pull it off, Barkov would become just the 4th captain in NHL history to win three in a row! With GM Bill Zito keeping the core together and Barkov creating a culture where everyone wants to stay, this Panthers team is built for a dynasty. Can they do it?

People who understand hockey on a superficial level will say McDavid is the best player in the world. People who understand hockey on a fundamental level know that Barkov is the actual best player in the world right now.
Not going to happen. Not with barkov
He could eventually be the best russian of all time in the nhl.
Was it you who voiced the Burger King foot lettuce video?
I think even if McDavid is the best player who's also a captain, Barkov is the best captain – for fostering a tight-knit, unselfish culture that makes teammates want to give their all and stay while keeping their salaries reasonable, and he leads by such an example. Part of Bill Zito's apparent genius can be attributed to this.
By now it's pretty clear this isn't not just some wholesome novelty but it actually delivers results.
Just a regular NHL fan here,
I honestly think they can win "ANOTHER ONE" (cup) within the next 3 post-seasons man too man.
And yeah, practicalities make it WAY MORE likely to happen in succession in this case, so 25-26, than any of the following year(s) (otherwise it's like the Gambler's Fallacy).
So if the man is gonna get a third 3 cup, whether it was or wasn't consecutive wins, 25-26 is his best shot for sure man. And if they pull it off, afterward it's too so to say IMHO.
Imho it's the LAST "modern hockey" dynasty (3 cups finals in a row and 2 cups, yeah they already are a dynasty in the modern sense) from a team based in the US until a certain team in Canada start being a top 2 Eastern Conf team and be there consistently for a looong time. i.e. the year 1993 will become less relevant 2-4 years for a good reason is what I am implying here.
But regarding the current champs :
Really Florida FANS, with all the bs you got from us over the year (like the fact that many of my team's fans saw more games in YOUR arena than our local one lol… Many reason as to why :P), I seriously hope the fans from 10 years ago + are still there and REALLY are enjoying it to the MAX man (everyone over there but these guys in particular; like you were there and remember when some players around the league of like PK Subban's generation, so IDK, the core of the Bruins team that won their last cup right up until Mr. Rat goat got traded (oh I have SO loved to hate that guy man :D, the cleanest hit I had ever seen in person was on him. Pure. Joy. But for a long, with no rivalry and since they got busy with their mandate to deal with the Leafs to spread joy around, it's been just respect for the guy from me tbh, props to Florida to have given him this opportunity and then huge leeway that Bergeron would have wanted to leave the game whenever for retirement…
So yeah, if you're part of the type of fans I've met multiple times 10-15 years ago, you guys did it. You had to suffer Tampa for longer than you wanted, but god damn did the forced upon you patience PAID TF OFF!!!! And as long as most people think of your team as a "standard" to aggressively "emulate" (so stupid man, so dumb… I know it's mostly media and not most people in the industry/around it.
Hope you win another one next year and more man. But in 3 or so years, a new kid (but weirdly "old" kid…) in town, that barely just got his foot in the playoff door last season, who's going be an issue. And by "town" I mean "same conference" and by "North" I mean Northward enough from Florida to cross an international border, to a "land within a land" 😉
hes so hard to knock off the puck
