  1. Mika is trash and should be moved I don’t care what he’s does this year he’s a baby the quite on the team last year. I hate this team more everyday that his bum ass is still on this team. Here we come lottery

  2. It seems that everyone is somehow surprised about all of the changes with our team. But after Gallant was fired everyone knew that we needed to make changes especially with our core. We got fools gold when Laviolette won the Presidents Trophy. The core group failed again. Everyone pointed at Drury, rightly so to an extent, about our failed year two with Laviolette. But if you follow the team it was the core group crying, quitting on the team and blaming Drury for the teams failure. Yes. Drury had a role to play but it was the core group’s blaming everyone else but themselves for how they failed us.

  3. Just a stupid move. It's clearly time for him to move on. His production is in decline and he is tissue paper soft. They will regret not moving on from him now.

  4. Last season was not Peter Laviolette’s fault, the team shut down on him. The bunch of pussies stop playing what they get paid for it was freaking disgusting.

  5. The big question is can Mika focus on elevating his game again, or will he be heartbroken with his BF Kreider gone?

  6. Though I’ve been wanting him back at center as it’s his natural position and he’s been a premier 2 way center and last year was an anomaly but the more I think about it the more I like him on Miller’s wing. 2 centers on 1 line is not bad thing and I can see good chemistry between them.

  7. Easy to say just move Mika to wing. But who will play C, after Miller & Trocheck. There’s nobody in Hartford that’s ready to step in at 3C for an 82 game season.

  8. I think Mika will come in with a positive mindset. If he didn’t want to be a NYR he would have been traded. He wants to stay and he has said this throughout and has continued to say it even when his close friends have all been shipped elsewhere.
He clearly responded well playing along JT and I expect this to continue, especially with Sullivan behind the bench. Look for Mika to have a bounce back year!

  9. Now that Kreider is gone, He can WAKE UP and play a better game with J.T. miller and who ever is the Lefty. Kreider had his moments but was limited in his actual skill, which hurt Mika's production. And the more Kreider didn't show up, the more MIKA and the team followed suit in doing the same. The actual start of the ridiculous downfall. Which left Drury to go nuts and do what he has done. And likely for the better.
