I always thought that by the time the Wings are contenders Larkin will be like the Avalanche's captain. He wasn't even one of the best players on their Cup run.

As disappointed as I am with no big signings, this is the response of someone in control, unlike some pressers last season. Detroit has 2 months for 2 trades, so there's plenty of time. 😃

There were no good FAs to sign, and Stevie didn’t make any bad signings like holland did in LA. People need to chill. Steve wants to win in Detroit. Yea it’s taken longer than expected, and sure he’s made some bad signings, but nothing like Holland had done and he’s made up for those mistakes in drafting tenfold.
Larkin needs to step the fuck up or go away this season.

Good joke but let’s be real. Larkins biggest strength is his speed. Once he starts to lose that he’s cooked. He doesn’t have hands like Patty Kane or the grit and tenacity of Brad Marchand to sustain offense as he gets older. But hey, we will see.
Larkin is a good player, not a great player. He won't be around in 10 years, let alone 15.
