  1. I don’t think Crosby will leave Pittsburgh I mean he won almost everything it also his choice if he wants to leave, but it would be cool to see him Reunite with Nate in Colorado but the Avs don’t have the Assets or Pick to do it

  2. Move the Penguins. If it weren't for drafting Mario and Sid, they wouldn't survive. That fandom sucks. No good players have come out of Pittsburgh. The ultimate bandwagon franchise.

  3. Sid will probably never leave here in Pittsburgh but if he does you can’t be angry with him he’s done so much for this team and given us 20 years of greatness if he moves on to win another cup then he’s earned that choice does Boston hate ray bourque for going to Colorado to get a cup?

  4. I can say this confidently that everyone will agree, the only acceptable option is to trade him to Vancouver for futures.

  5. Pittsburgh will not be allowed to “shop” Sidney Crosby; he is going to pick his team. The team that he picks will know this. That team – likely the Habs or the Avs – will have to give up minimal conditional value, because at the end of the day, Sid chose them, the Pens will have no leverage in doing right by him. They will probably receive a conditional 2nd round pick that becomes a 1st if the team acquiring him makes a deep playoff run – much like the Marchand trade. It is delusional to think that the Penguins will be demanding a king’s ransom for a 38 year-old that wants out to one specific team.

  6. Steve is right. It is not worth it to trade Sid. They are going to get soo much already in trading away assets this year and they are going to have so much young talent enter the lineup over the next 1-3 years. Sid will be the perfect player to usher them into the league.

  7. Adam cannot help but talk about this topic.

It was fun to talk about at one point but it clearly will not happen.

  8. Crosby might be the 3rd best player of all time, but he is absolutely not the best player in the history of the Penguins. That's Mario Lemieux. And its not close. As great as Crosby is.

  9. Wouldn’t Crosby trade actually help the Penguins

Both in assets and in McKenna lottery chances

I don’t see Crosby do anything but try to win games… he doesn’t sandbag

    San Jose
    Chicago
    Pittsburgh

Should all be fighting for 1st overall pick again…

No Crosby on Penguins the better their chances

  10. They really need to let this go. I remember years back they kept talking about how Ovechkin should want out of Washington because he hadn't won a Stanley Cup yet. Sid isn't going anywhere other than Pittsburgh; beginning, middle, end.

  11. There wasnt sign sidney would want out or that organization wants to trade him. Why the f is it main part of the show for like 3rd time at least its getting anoying

  12. Well, if anything, Sid should move on from the Pens..
But no, I dont think he should.
I think he has 3 cups and everything he could have ever wanted to achieve and now all thats left is grace and loyalty.
    What a career. 👏👏

  13. Crosby is going to do what he wants to do. As a long time Penguins fan I would absolutely love to see him retire here. He built this place.
    This is his team.
But with that being said, he has the right to do what he wants, what makes him happy. It would suck if he chose to leave, and I would absolutely be sad….but at the same time I would be rooting for him to succeed and for him to be happy, period.
Crosby will always be a Penguin, just like Flower, no matter what.
Penguins' fans, especially those who make up the direct fandom, know this and I have no doubt that we will continue to always show Crosby the love and respect he deserves!!

  14. No hesitation as a Canucks fan. They can have Lekkerimaki, Willander, D Elias Pettersson, and 3 unprotected 1sts

  15. Would it not make Sid look even better to Pittsburgh fan if he got them a Haul? I'm sure fans would still cheer for Sid when Penguins are rebuilding.

  16. You guys need to talk more about the Tanner Jeannot trade. Do a retrospective. The trade is absolutely insane bonkers and it was made by JBB, a highly regarded GM, to the brand new Barry Trotz, long time coach legend brand new GM.

    So bizarre

  17. Change to routine is bad. Sidney is a bit nuts and would never move to a new team bc then the rituals would have to change

  18. Of course not, they should spend the rest of his career trying hard every year to not waste the rest of his career, while wasting every remaining year. Why stop now, they are on quite the tear. This has been as stupid as the pieces are in place argument. It is pro hockey there are always pieces in place.

  19. The only people that keep bringing this up are you morons in the Canadian media. Crosby has never expressed an interest in leaving and he’s not. Yet you continue to push out the same fictional narrative. Sit around and daydream all you want

  20. Buffalo keeps using their top picks on D-men, instead of forwards. Most teams build up front young, then acquire defenders.

  21. Just stop farming for clicks.

Crosby isn’t leaving. He’s signed contracts below his market value for over a decade because he wants to stay in Pittsburgh.

He loves Pittsburgh and Pittsburgh loves him. Period. Some guys don’t need to chase the massive contract. Sid has his Stanley Cups. The Pens would pay him whatever he wants. What exactly would he be chasing?

This is Canadian fan boy fantasy.

  22. Comparing Crosby to Bourque is one of the most idiotic, zero IQ comparisons possible. Ray Bourque had to whore himself out at the end of his career to get a Cup. Crosby has three. It's not even close to being comparable. Stupid, stupid, stupid.
