The 4th Period’s David Pagnotta then joins the guys to go over some of the options discussed, plus he takes us through some of the tires that the Canucks have kicked in the offseason already, like Marco Rossi and Bowen Byram. David also addresses other offensive options that may be available with some prodding, and the possibility of a rare August trade market as many teams look to jockey for cap space.

Canucks don't need to trade anybody for a 2c linus karlsen from Abby is ready
What am I missing here? Joshua player center his entire career and is still listed as a center.
If Chytil can stay healthy, he should be good enough.
they should trade for josh norris
Trade Silovs, Joshua, and Blue to Anaheim for Mctavish. They get a 3rd line and a goalie we get a second line center
EP40, Chytil or Raty, Raty or Chytil, Blueger sounds alright to me. If an option comes up to get a high end center take it but I think we’re in a decent position up front and we are top 5 in the back end.
Play a month or two into the season. Raty's always developed into a PPG anywhere he has gone and Chytil has the upside if he can stay healthy. As soon as some teams know they are bad, the market will open up a bit
GO CANUCKS GO
STOP THE ROSSI TALK. WE DONT WANT HIM!
I still believe this team is a 50/50 at making the playoff ep40 and Chytil not gonna cut it sorry .
I wish the Canucks would realize Hoglader is the one to trade NOT Joshua
Not certain they're desperate yet. I feel like a trade will be made for 2c when McKenna tankathon sweepstakes begins.
You don't trade Blueger. For starters. By late November there should be some centermen available.
Despite what management says, there is no way that they are comfortable coming back with basically the same lineup. Sure, we can hope for bounce backs from a lot of players but it’s still not good enough, especially in the context of keeping Hughes. They need to move their 2026 1st rounder (protected) and an asset for a legit 2c in his prime. Don’t want to move more young assets but you have to give to get.
I'm stocking draft picks and trade what you know a player offers for an upgrade, but you need patience, and Canuck fans are brutal, plus ownership is wishy washy.
we're not in the middle of July.
Big question will still be EP 40. He has still proved NOTHING
Who is this guy?
The prices were stupid for a 33yr old Granlund that only a team that's below the cap floor could sign…
Blueger , Baines and 2 draft picks for McTavish !!
Wouldn’t even be in this mess at all had Allvin not let Lindholm walk and moved Miller. Would’ve been no need for DeBrusk or Kane then, either. Joshua and Karlsson could’ve held down the C position for the bottom-6 next season. Only hole left to fill would’ve been acquiring a RH RW for the 2nd line.
Almost the only move is to send Lankinen to a team that needs a 1A keeper… Best value you have without blowing up the team even more than it's been already
Trading Miller was a Huge mistake
Every single Canucks fan and season ticket holder we have talked to said the same thing and I agree
I would give Chytil and the 1st back today if we could bring Miller back
Pittsburgh would have easily traded Marcus for a future 1st from us
