Big believer in using barbell over smith machine for anything.. if you can pull 315 on smith machine. That means you can pull 225lbs realistically. Smith machine you don’t get to pull slack out of bar. If you use straps on a smith machine for Romanian deadlifts I must insist you actually rdL with a bar
Seeing this one year later and this is incorrect. The Smith should not angle away as you pull up. Additionally, your form is terrible, but tbf you don't have great body mechanics for deadlifts.
