ther isn;t a bidding war for someone who will most likely get a pto offer
Bidding war for pretty much A PTO!?
Meh. There's a reason the Wings and Blackhawks let him walk.
At the right price and term, why not. It’s not a compete year for the Habs anyway
He's the most amazing replacement level player ever.
Noooo! If Chicago kicks you to the curb there’s a reason
Healthy Duch is exactly what Habs need!!
Habs don't need this guy. Preds and Avs can have him
No on veleno Montreal don't need him.
The bids are $775,000 , $776,000 , and $777,000. It's an all out war between the teams.
Shame on joe for not establishing an identity in the NHL. He obviously isn't going to be a high point producer. He needs to reinvent his identity as a net front presence or a pest or an enforcer or a strong penalty killer. He is just average at all of those roles. He can skate fast and is a hard worker but is a specialist of nothing.
Bidding war for Joe Veleno? Detroit gave up on him and moved him to Chicago for Mrazek. Burakovsky was moved to Chicago for Veleno for Seattle. He's a failed first round pick, turned 25 and 81 points in 306 NHL games. He has 36 points in 69 AHL games. He has played part of five NHL seasons.
He's not that good.
There is no bidding war for this guy and I'd be shocked if someone signs him. Shocked.
It's hard to believe there's a bidding war for him.
no need this guy is worst then pezzetta.
Joe Veleno is a good up and down player. if you're paying 2mil / aav and under – he's a good asset. I don't think the Red Wings dev staff utilized him well.
Veleno stamped on Swiss player Nino Niederreiter's calf with his skate blade at the WC 2023 his careers has nose dived since we dont need him thank you
Guy was never projected to go 1st overall……
Joshua Roy dominated the Q and he can’t even crack the roster
I don’t think he’s a good fit for the Habs
As of today he's still available but I wouldn't give him much more than league minimum and maybe some performance bonuses! But yea..would love Joe to be my avs 4th line center ngl !!
