  1. I think Risto is safe, he has improved quite a bit since coming to Philly. With the cap going up his contract is team friendly and he has shown tons of improvement. Laughton I think its time to move on and if the Flyers get a 1st take it. I also think York should be traded, he's going to be a RFA the Flyers could get some talent adding a pick to a York trade.

  2. It’s a shame Risto is 30. He has really improved his game. To be honest-I would not be happy with just a late 1st rounder for him. If I were Danny, I’d be on the horn with Washington. They are the best team in The East and Ovi is playing lights out! They must have Lord Stanley in their sights. I would try my hardest to pry Ryan Leonard from them. Laughton & 1st round pick (EDM) for Leonard. Risto & 2nd round pick ……….possible 1sr round (EDM) for Leonard. I love that kid, he would be a great fit for Philly……and he is a center!

  3. It's amusing how Torts likes to bounce back and forth between, "I've never heard of the guy" & "I don't pay attention to anything else happening across the league" to suddenly being in a position to offer salient advice about trade value.

  4. Unless they can get another #1 or another #2 for either of them, I say keep them. Preferably, I would keep Risto.

  5. Risto is the type of player that does not grow on trees. You can't keep getting rid of your best players, for draft picks that may, or may not turn into something in a few years. That's just pushing the goal post further down the field. An eternal rebuild. If any club is willing to trade an NHL 1st line center then maybe. Who's stupid enough to do that?

  6. There’s no ready now replacement for Risto in the system. Unless a deal comes along that blows them away Risto stays. Laughton will probably be moved.

  7. Risto seems like a next year type of issue. Move off him then if you’re going to move off him. Unless something wows briere I wouldn’t take it for risto
