    Poor taste Eric. To say someone gets his head smashed against the boards and lays down on the ice and is embellishing is wrong. I agree with you in 99% of your views… here you are 100% wrong

    First of all Chris, his head hit the glass… his own visor cut his nose. So actually gonna have to get your facts straight. Next as a hockey player you have to protect yourself at all times. Gudbranson went low as he was cutting around the net. Cousins had every right to forecheck and finish his hit. 1000000% embellishment. The whistle was for his safety not to go knock a block off a guy who's turtling.

    I miss the damn game after I got stuck in a vehicle that broke down like 15 miles away from home on Sunday. Had to wait an eternity for a tow truck to show up. Got back like an hour after the game was over.

    There was a large amount of space between the boards when cousins hit him, then his head got smashed into the glass. Thats the penalty, by definition. Him laying on the ice would not have any bearing on a penalty call. Here is the rule encase you are unaware of what boarding is…

    "Boarding is the action where a player pushes, trips or body checks an opponent causing them to go dangerously into the boards. This includes: Accelerating through the check to a player who is in a vulnerable or defenseless position and driving an opponent excessively into the boards with no focus on or intent to play the puck, or any check delivered for the purpose of punishment or intimidation that causes the opponent to go unnecessarily and excessively into the boards."

    Im a homer as much as the next guy. Cousins is one of my favorite players on the team, but the hit was dirty.

    🤣🤣🤣 You're a clown….that was the DEFINITION OF CHECKING FROM BEHIND. Cousins shouldve been ejected immediately and none of the other shit wouldve had the chance to happen. Poor ref work imo….Guddy got up and went after him once. Guddy had every right for what he did later in the game.

    Oh please, I bet if anyone of you guys took that same hit from cousins, you would be on the ground crying for ur mommy to help. His face literally slammed up against the glass, he just got so mad😂that takes over pain
