Jack Eichel Practices DIFFERENT from his Games?

Practicing different from what is done.

Of Eichel’s 31 goals in 23-24, at least 25 of them used a rotation, whereas 1-2 were arguably with what he practiced.

Over 80% of his output does not utilize what he practiced.

Every time I see this, I lose my mind.

As you should too.

Because you were taught the “right way” the whole time, when it wasn’t the same as what is done?

I went through the system of the right way.

Well you saw how far that got me, bottom of the barrel, sucking, and lost out on my dreams.

But it was when I did the wrong things that I started to become more like the players I looked up to.

I was not afraid to be wrong.
I was not afraid to be ridiculed.
I was not afraid to go against the norm.

I don’t care if you believe in the big system, and I’m happy for you that it worked for you.

But it did not for me, and for those who work with me.

I guarantee you the ratio of success stories from the system to failures is at least 1,000 to 1.

1 player in 1,000 gets good results from doing the “right” things?

That’s not good enough.

All I ask is that you look and acknowledge this skill gap, and that what is often practiced by the best is not what is done.

  1. You should put stuff in quotes or something when it's sarcastic just so it's more clear, this one makes sense but in your other videos I've missed the sarcasm until the end so it didn't make sense at first lol
