  1. Pohlkamp was no where on my radar before and now after his dev camp + scrimmage I’m hoping he’ll be on the Sharks roster next year and be a stalwart for years to come.

  2. Hey Brodie and Eric,
I always enjoy these conversations particularly with the younger guys whether they be on the Sharks roster or in the pipeline because we don't know these young men that well yet and it's great to hear their thoughts and see their personality come through.

Eric, I don't think its fair to call you by your first name after what you just showed in the Development camp scrimmage and I am not talking about the hat trick specifically though that was a big piece. What I am talking about is how much you showed up in that scrimmage. You were just a force every time you were on the ice driving play and I am just so impressed with your play man. For that reason I think you deserve to be called MR. Pohlkamp! hehe

I find you to be one of the most interesting and exciting young men in our system and I have high hopes for you this upcoming season the University of Denver and within the Sharks organization. I wish you all the best Eric and go get 'em man!

    Thanks again Brodie.

  3. Ive been skeptical of his Nhl abilities from the beginning of last year. His 2024 rookie skirmish was fantastic and he was putting up a better point total to Buium at the beginning of the year, but consistency can be very rare for a 5th round pick and for someone with a 5’10 frame it seemed unlikely for him to ever be a full time NHLer. But as he kept up the pace in college hockey, added strength, gained confidence, and had another fantastic rookie camp it seems his debut is inevitable. Could end up being the biggest steals in the draft in Sharks history since Pavs.

  4. He looked great at the scrimmage, and he had a good first year with Denver. I think he could end up being a serious sleeper pick after hopefully another good year at DU where he gets even more opportunity to develop his game against very good competition. I hope they make a good run at the Frozen Four, but selfishly I also hope we see him get some games for the Sharks at the tail end of the season to help secure himself a spot on the blue line the following year.

  5. He had a decent showing last year at dev camp and this season at denver he started off really well and for the most part kept it up. Im excited for his future.
