The saddest thing is, nobody on Edmonton side did anything. I'm not a big fan of the "code" but in this situation you should react in some way. Crying about someone slapshotting an empty net goal is stupid, but when someone crosschecks your star player on the face, you should react.
Yo McDavid had his hand ready to throw a swing. Not like anyone can be a “tough guy” when you got one guy cross check you in the front AND one cross check you from behind.
I don’t know if anyone of you ever been on a two on one fight but it’s pretty hard fighting two people at once especially when one comes from behind that don’t see coming.
