I'd move Mika Z-Bad this year and complete a restructure of this team completely. I'd also be fielding any interest in Panarin with 1 year left on his contract. If you are going to change the team then move away from the past as it didn't work and build a future. The Rangers are no where near what it will take to win a Stanley Cup. This will take years to accomplish if it can at all. So lean on Drury to construct a team for the future.

You have wonder what is going on in Mika's head with CK gone. Is he strong enough mentally to prove he is a great hockey player without CK. You have to wonder if JT Miller can help him achieve the type of player he is capable of being. What is he doing this summer? Is he spinning discs at a nightclub or completely committing himself to building the confidence he needs to have as his own man out on the ice? Let's watch and listen to what he does this summer.

Last year the GM treated Goodrow badly, and then pulled the rug out from under Trouba without moving the "C" to somebody else. Unquestionably this affected morale. Maybe GM has learned something…
