Disgusting behaviour should have been immediately disqualified. No room for this kind of appalling behaviour by any tennis player. Great respect to the ball girl who obviously shows a higher level integrity.

She was just making up her mind, nothing to discuss. I play tennis and I can perfectly understand her. She just wanted several balls being thrown at her without catching it. Putintseva just took her time in such somewhat odd manner… Btw she finally grabbed herself two of three balls – that's the same as all players would have done.

if I had been that ball girl I would not have thrown a ball until she gestured me to. Putintseva took her bad tennis out on the ball girl doing a thankless job for these players, they run about so hard and get treated like that. Putintseva's apology mean nothing to me, always sorry after the fact. Hope she's booed on her next match.

Unsportsmanlike behavior
All those slagging the tennis player off, look at how she is just standing there swinging her racquet before the ball girl even throws the balls, she is clearly apathetic and deep in thought. She is just frustrated, it's not about the ball girl. I'm not saying it's great behaviour but it's not what people are saying that she is trying to 'humiliate' the ball girl. People need to have a bit more understanding and empathy. Professional athletes are under a lot of pressure. They cannot always behave 'perfectly' by whatever standards people arbitrarily deem that to be.
