I don’t think there’s a right or wrong awnser, but I’m 100% taking Lidstrom over Ovi. Lidstrom makes everyone better. He’s durable, thrives on both ends of the ice, leadership, IQ. Not to say Ovi doesn’t have those things too but IMO Lidstrom was a rare breed.
Not gonna lie, it made me a bit nervous when they annouced the Berggren contract before Raymonds 😅 Made me think the negotiations between Raymond and Seider were not as close as we thought. But now that Raymond is signed, I have faith Seider will sign here soon.

Why in the world would newsy be fired when he has a roster that no one is considering a lock in for a playoff spot? Makes zero sense to make that claim. Yzerman surely has the self reflection to give newsy the beneifet of the doubt that hedoesn't have the roster to pull it off. I mean we were bottom 10 in xGA last year. That's not a coaching failure, that's a personal failure.
I always find it funny how people keep undervaluing Larkin. If healthy, the guy is a star player and difference maker, he's just not flashy.
