Fly fishing for trout, fly fishing for Cutthroat in the Pacific Northwest has been a passion of mine for the last 40 years. I have spent most of my life fly fishing the great Pacific Northwest to include fly fishing in Alaska, fly fishing in Washington, fly fishing in Oregon, fly fishing in Idaho and fly fishing in Montana. I generally will fly fish and practice catch and release when fly fishing for trout, but I have been known to catch and cook during camping trips to many of my favorite fishing spots. I love to fly fish lakes in the higher elevation, though I have a few lowland lakes that are fly fishing only that are also on my most favorite list. I have a ton experience fly fishing rivers for trout and always enjoy discovering new rivers to fly fishing in and around the greater Pacific Northwest. I am also an accomplished at casting a fly rod – whether it is fly fishing casting for distance, fly fishing casting for accuracy, the double haul, roll cast, tower cast and many more fly fishing casting techniques – I can show you the basics when it comes to casting a fly rod. I also will cover many topics that relate to getting started with fly fishing. From your basic fly fishing setups, flies and fly boxes – we cover all the fly fishing needs for beginners. Thanks for taking the time to tune into FlyFishDan and I hope you consider subscribing to my fly fishing channel. Cheers and FISH-ON!!!

No, but its going to! I can hear the vise calling my name this winter.
Now it dows
40 midges 15 copper John's and some puff balls
It looks like a make up kit for his face, my bad 😂
I wish!!
Nice box.. can we borrow a fly?
Yea
Bro need more boxes I have a box or two for each style of nymph I own
Is loop connector better than sniping the line?
i need that man
Nope.
Nah she look better!
My old fly box for rivers look similar tho. Cheers
I dropped so many boxes like that
Have the same. Almost. But like half amount of flies than in this video.
Mine looks just like that… but from temu. Quantity>quality
I keep my fly box small, have plenty of streamers, at least 5 or 6, dry flies of many sorts, and nymphs. A worm or two, have one egg but it’s smaller
No.
Como puedo adquirir ese juego de señuelos
I wish
Half of them already fell out!
😊
What is the fly case brand? Thnx! Did you tie those?
No, I fish the provo… they don't eat unless it's a size 20+ sow bug:(
I like those green and red ice cream cone midges
Yes it does
that looks like its just his nymph box. 😅
Mine looks similar. I have two of them.
Got a fair few more in mine but not that organised just sorta in size oder and simular coulors together I'm not going to organise it like that I've got hundreds of flies mostly given to me from my grandad
What fly box do I mach with 😂 since amazon I've collected over 12 box's full
Mines filled with streamers and dry flies
Now THATS a fly box if I’ve ever seen one
Similar, just way to disorganized, like I find copper John’s in my streamers box
Before a trip it does
I always keep my box sorted by size! I normally only have two of the same fly
Beautiful chaos 😢
Tip for those of you don’t know! Make sure your wet flies are completely dried before shutting the case and storing away for your next trip. I was retying several of some older flies, cutting off with a razor blade, to salvage the hooks, and noticed how much rust there was on the hooks and how much they had deteriorated to the point that a few of the eyes broke off with hand pressure and the shank underneath the thread, dubbing and other materials! If I had used them again and caught a larger fish, or maybe any fish, the hook was probably going to break!
amazing!
do you tie them yourself?
Nope!
Na I have more well I did but now the trees do
As of right now, I can honestly say it does. But then again fishing season just started.
I wish
Actually mine looks remarkably similar, especially since I have that same Tacky flybox. Only real difference is I keep my egg flies in a different box. Cool vid, thanks!
Not enough CADDIS!!!!! More!!!!!!!
Not yet.
My fly box looks like that. Except it’s all prince nymphs. There’s never been a need for anything else lol
Is that just for your euro rod
