  1. Kapannen, Anderson, and next years unprotected 1st round pick should do it. That saves a bit of money as well for St. Louis. Cheers

  2. Kyrou with his team friendly contract is worth an absolute haul. You’re giving up a major player in Caulfield, demidov, Suzuki, reinbacher Dobson, slaf, no other way around it. For all the people in this chat that don’t watch hockey and suggest they’re trading picks for Kyrou, the blues had a better run than your team last year, there’s 0 chance we trade him for picks and prospects.

  3. Laine + 2026 1st rd pick <-> Kyrou

    Blues make loads of cpa space since Laine only has 1 year and they get a 1st rd pick to build around the team

  4. Apparently montreal is the new toronto.
    every potential trades involves st.louis taking crap players or multiple crappy players
    and montreal gets the star player. 1 for 1 caufield or suzuki for kyrou 1 for 1 or F off.

  5. Doug Armstrong has been clear that he wants his team to be better now. There's nothing that Montreal is willing to part with that would improve the Blues today. This seems extremely optimistic on the part of Habs fans.

    Seriously, what does St Louis get back for a 70 point player?

  6. Ya great, is he a Centre ? Well then we don't have a spot at the moment. I say go all in on a Centre

  7. I don't get the point of this hypothetical trade. Both teams are looking for a 2C that can help now & obviously neither have what the other wants.

  8. I'd rather not trade for Kyrou. He would take alot to trade for and we really don't need another winger.(obviously kyrou would be a good uprade) . I'd rather just run it with what we have now and wait for a 2C to become e available somewhere down the road.

  9. I don't believe there is a trade that makes sense for the Habs. St.Louis would want an asset that could contribute similarly to Kyrou now and the Habs can't give up that asset without getting worse. If Armstrong would take a Kirby Dach, Newhook and prospects and picks then great, but he definitely wants a Slafkofsky or maybe a Caufield in return. Next year will be interesting, lots of big name UFA's potentially available.

  10. It's a Noah Dobson 2.0. The price is now beginning to fall off. Kyrou has the big power in hand, so does Kent Hughes. Oh, and Seattle is now out of the sweepstakes as well. So no more Reinbacher, Hage, or 2026 1st (unprotected) in the deal. PWAHAHAHA.

    Laine, Struble, ???? + pick … The question is now if St-Louis will finally kneel down like the Islanders.
