Rackell yes, Rust yes, Karlsson a resounding no. Need to get better defensively not worse, already have an affective PP and thats all EK helps with
I mean, I’d be down for it, but I feel like to get the most out of him Detroit would still need a legit second line LD to pair with him so Simon can play with Mo. I dunno, he’d make them better, but by home much?
Don't need EK. Don't want EK at his age, salary (even after retention), and "defensive" ability. Don't trust this "insider". Eklund, of Hockey Buzz, is more reliable, and that dude is a crackpot loon. Rakell and/or Rust, good pickups, if we can swing it.
$6M tops for wings to pay to get him and not 2026 first rounder
Karlsson doesn’t play defense. And he makes 10 mil a year. Would be an absolutely dumb trade unless they retain salary or we ship gustafsson that way. Virtually the same player. Lol dumb dumb dumb
Great trade for the Red Wings. He can train up Edvinsson. They need more help on the back end, especially after getting Gibson. It would solidify them. Seeing as they missed out on Dobson this is a great plan B. Karlsson only has 2 years left on his contract and Berggren is good but he’s not all that. lol
Pp was ok..we need a 5 on 5 team..we kinda sucked there for the most part
NO!!! karlsson is washed up. He's not good defensively. That's what we need, defense!!
N O !!!!!!!
So there is no update. Bryan rust needs to come with him
Age: 35+ ✔️
Takes up another spot ✔️
No defensive game ✔️
Overpaid even at 50% ✔️
I’m surprised he’s not in a Wings uniform now ✔️
Seider is pretty much an honorary Swede after playing for Rögle.
Hey Lego!!!!!! You used to say that Detroit was your second favorite NHL team!!! What has happened?
I want Rackell. Rust is another local guy. Good player but at what point is this too many local guys?
Detroit does not need over priced and not good anymore EK it would be a huge mistake
Would be a great mentor for ASP
Anybody alleging Karlsson to Detroit is a moron lol…… never ever happening, not in a million years
Lets go the tank is on
Patrick Kane and Erik Karlsson on the same power play. Yes Please!
I don't want the highest paid defenseman with his best years behind him. Wings already had an offensive defenseman that couldn't play defense with gostisbehere.
Karlsson is not very strong defensively speaking. The price is very high and he's 35. I would prefer a big physical shut down kind of defenseman. Although he would be a huge upgrade from the 2 pylons we still have in Holl and Gus
Get PIT to retain half and play him at top-line left wing 😅
That would be a great move for Detroit
😂he never was good defensively
Offensive power house
OK We all know @legorocks99 Speaks Canadian… This is what he means when he says "Detroit is my 3rd favorite team"… In American he means… "Detroit is my favorite team, I just can't say that cuz I am Canadian, and I don't want otter Canadians to hate me"… YES to Karlsson… Love ya Lego😘😁
yeah as if karlsson is going to waive his no move to go play for the red wings 😂😂😂
I can't believe you just cited roger hicks, you've lost all credibility lol
At this point I'd be happy with this trade. If it's berggren going the other way with minor assets included. And we get 50% retained I find it hard to believe he would be worse than holl. And I like bergs but he really isn't the kind of player we thought he would be is he?
I dont mind as long as we arent trading valuable assets or prospects for place holder players
Very bad idea, would be a huge expensive mistake !!!!
