MULTIPLE Bruins Trade Updates… This Changes EVERYTHING | Boston Bruins News

We have multiple Boston Bruins trade updates as new details have been revealed in a trade regarding Yonas Corposalo and this is a major change for the Boston Bruins and things are going to have to be done as we recently have signed Michael Dpro. We’re going to be breaking that all down here in this video as well as going over a recent report from Elliot Freeman detailing that the Bruins were in on Matias Machelli and what this means for the remainder of the offseason for the Boston Bruins. We have so much news to cover here today. news keeps on coming out and we’re going to have it here for you guys as it drops. Before we do jump into this video, however, be sure to hit the sub button if you haven’t already. We’re on the road to 8K with the big goal of 10K. And your support lately has been honestly like I have no words for it, guys. You guys are amazing watching these videos. And in response, I’m going to have to get videos for you every day, multiple a day on some occasions as well. And I’ll keep you guys up to date with all of your Boston Bruins news. But let’s get straight into this. First, I wanted to start off this video going over Yon Corposal. Things have been getting wild in this instance. And as we remember, it seemed like a trade was imminent, but now with a recent report from his player agent, things may be looking a bit different. Now, this is what his agent has to say. There is no truth to that. That was being asked when he was uh, you know, if there was any trade reports going on, if he had asked for a trade, and Marcus Leto, who I believe that’s the right name. I believe that’s, you know, the correct pronunciation, I should say, is saying that there’s no truth to Yonas Corpalo wanting out of Boston. He says he loves it, but this causes a lot of issues for the Boston Bruins here now for a few reasons. Yos Corposalo was a guy that, you know, although we saw him struggle a bit last year. He was someone who no doubt should have been in a little bit more than what he was. Jeremy Swayman did not have a great season, it seemed like the Bruins were really relying on him and ultimately at the end of the day it worked out. We got James Higgins because of it now with that first round pick and you know that’s the history that’s the past. That’s history. We can’t go back and look at that now and uh you know look ahead to next season. That’s the big goal. However, with all of the reports that came out last year about him seemingly not happy wanting a trade, a lot of issues have gone down now where the Bruins went out and signed Michael Dietro to a one-way contract. So, he would have to go through waiverss to get sent down to the AHL, which is something that we know would be a big issue as many teams were in on him. Now, looking at going to Scorpal over the next few years, he has three years remaining on his deal. This is now currently for the next season, year three of five. So, he has three more years left. 34 when that deal expires and a $4 million cap hit. Already having that cap hit behind Jeremy Swayman is a very hefty price for a backup who may not be getting into too many games. Although is a very solid backup and could certainly be a starter with a few different teams. It’s a bit of a struggle for the Boston Bruins to be able to make extra moves or go out and try and do some more things. When you have a guy like Yonas Corposalo on the bench making that much money. Now going further into this as well and looking at his stats. I know they’re a bit small there, so I do apologize. But last year wasn’t really the greatest. You know, pretty good goals against honestly compared to last season with Ottawa 290. But then you have to save percentage and 893. That’s really not what we wanted to see for a guy like Yonas Corposalo who is getting into a few more games than what he was 27. And last year with Ottawa Centers was even worse. But we really saw the potential with the LA Kings. 213 goals against now bear in mind only 11 games and a 921 save percentage. And my mind really thought to me last year when we acquired Jonas Corpalo that if we look at that and we thought of course this Bruins team is going to be better than it was. We could see that Yonas Corpasalo last season. Now of course that was all before all of this Jeremy Swim and trade contract uh contract talks were going down and stuff. So we seem to be relying more on Yonas Corpasalo than previously was stated. Now once again kind of going back to it we have to keep this in mind as well. Another quote here from RG that was really interesting signing going based on Michael Dietro considering what Unos Corpalo said at the end of the season giving the goalie trademark it right now and NHL executive um opinions to RG media earlier this week. It definitely got a lot of people wondering again on Unispalo and I’m sure teams were and are calling on Don Sweeney again on him. Don’t forget what he said to the media at the end of the season. Now that’s on Yunos Corp Basalo and this is what he actually had to say. I don’t think there’s any goalie in the league who really was really comfortable playing 20 to 25 games. He started uh as 27. You know, definitely should have gotten more. I won’t go I won’t say that he didn’t. Went 1110 and three three shutouts and posted a goals against average of 290 and save percentage of 893. But, you know, the way that we saw Jeremy Sven play there was certainly more opportunities where Yonas Corpalo should have got in and that that frustration that he had really made sense. you know, especially going off of what he was with LA um LA and Ottawa being that starting goalie now sitting behind um Jeremy Swayman was definitely a little bit different compared to what he had done for the previous two seasons. So going over a trade, this really messes a few things up when we do go ahead and put Michael Dietro in and throwing all these contract talks in there knowing that he’s going to be a goalie that is projected to be the backup next season. So, I’m still expecting some sort of Jonas Corposalo, you know, trade reports, trade talks going down between other teams and Don Sweeney and the Bruins trying to get someone. And we thought, you know, not thought and we kind of acknowledged where we saw John Gibson. You know, he got dealt for a pretty good package to the Detroit Red Wings. They got Peter Morazzic back in exchange, I believe it was, with a second and a sixth or something like that. In my mind, you could see something pretty similar to Jonas Corbasalo with that depending on what the market is still looking like. I know there’s a few teams that are still kind of interested in goalending, but the market’s going to be thinning out pretty quick. People want goalies figured out quick. So, that’s something the Bruins really need to keep an eye on here as they kind of go over the next few days, especially signing Michael Dietro because you can run a three goalie system. Not ideal, however, especially with Michael Dietro being on this deal that you want to get him in the NHL, especially after how good he was the last few seasons down with Providence. And you know, once again, kind of going back to that trade as well. Something even similar to this would be ideal for the Boston Bruins just to get rid of the cap space. They probably wouldn’t be able to do it that way. Of course, John Gibson is a pretty good goalie just in a tough situation with Anaheim. Second or fourth of Peter Morazzic, you know, you can’t really complain if you’re the the uh Anaheim Ducks here. So, let’s hope something like this does occur and something like this can kind of come to fruition for the Boston Bruins. But, we do need to move on into a very interesting look here from the uh Boston Bruins standpoint where they currently stood. And we know that they were trying to make a few extra moves here in the off season and we saw that the market was pretty interesting a couple weeks ago in the trade side of things and it’s going to be heating up once again as another agent said but Elliot Freeman dropped a pretty big update here on the Boston Bruins what their plan was and may have actually kind of hinted at what the Bruins were trying to do ahead of the NHL draft and this is what he had to say. I heard there were three or four teams that were in on the Freeman said I think Boston was one. I think Edmonton was one. Now, this is very interesting where the Bruins currently stood and currently stand as we know that the top six right now is not where we wanted to be. We’re still missing that second line winger and Matias Michelli would have certainly brought us to there and of course Victor Arson now in that slot. Uh it could change of course with some uh some moves that will be made later on as we know the Bruins aren’t going to be done. Seems like Don still has some some more trades or some more moves up his sleeve, but adding Matis Machelli to the second line would have been so ideal for the Boston Bruins. It kind of goes to show what kind of move they were looking for and it kind of I guess we can kind of say goes ahead as what we’re still looking for for the Boston Bruins on the second line. A young winger who has proved himself but still is trying to get better. I think that’s really the best way to describe Matis Machelli from Arizona from Utah. He requested a trade out of there which kind of lowered the leverage from the Utah Mammoth there but would have certainly been a great fit on this line. And when you look at the cap, the Brewers don’t really have the money to make something like that happen. Now 2 million would have to get rid of another big contract and hopefully that would be Jonas Corposalo in this case that would free up a perfect amount of money for really anybody because we need to do take a look at Matias Machelli. His contract is a steal. Honestly, you know, this is one of probably the best contracts for value in the NHL. And although Matis Machelli seemingly did come over to the NHL a bit late, he’s still only 24 years old at a $3.4 million cap hit. RFA when this expired would have been one of the most doable contracts for a top six forward who has a lot of potential, still very young in the NHL. And of course, the Toronto Maple Leafs had to go and get him, which really spoiled our plans here. But I think this is a good look. And what Elliot Freeman dropped and it kind of hinted at what the Bruins next moves are going to be is they’re still looking for a young top six winger at a pretty cheap price that they can make, you know, make work if they get rid of even one contract. and Matis Machelli, I think, is kind of the the blueprint of what we’re looking for on that type of trade. So, let me know what you think about there as well. Of course, Matias Machelli would be a perfect fit. And as you see, a third line rightwinger for the Toronto Maple Leafs would have easily been a second line for the for the Bruins, but that’s, you know, that’s something we kind of have to move on now from. We got to go and try and get the next guys available, next best guy. And hopefully the Bruins can swing something in their good, you know, something good in their direction, in their favor, because this top six, you know, even though we’re not going to be great next season, could tank for Gavin McKenna, who is now at Penn State, could be a very interesting season for the Bruins, depending on what route they take. Still a lot of offseason left, still a lot of time for moves to be made, but we don’t know yet what route the Bruins are going to take, if it’s going to be a get back season or if it’s going to be sitback season. So, let me know what you think about these two kind of updates here. And I feel like the trade market is still going to be heating up. And as a few videos I mentioned a few videos ago I mentioned that an NHL agent has said that come next week come you know mid this week next week the NHL trade market is going to be back up again after a little hiatus after free agency. So we have to expect the Bruins are going to be in on that. That is all I have in this video. And remember though like I said at the beginning we’re going to have a lot of videos coming here for you. Probably another one today. You know the news is still slowly trickling out for the Boston Bruins before we get back into a heavy load of it. And I’m going to keep you updated with all of it here. So be sure to hit the sub button if you’re looking for your Bruins news and you haven’t already. But like I said, it’s all I got. Thank you for watching. Hope you have a great day.

  1. If multiple teams are interested in Korpi, it shouldn't take this long to pull the trigger. The Gibson trade comp is unlikely. More likely either no one wants him or they are asking for something to take him off our hands. Also, when the backup complains about playing 27 games I'd say go whine to the back up to Hasek who played 8.

  2. They gotta make a trade for a top 6 guy who can put puck in the net!? It'd be good if they could get a decent top 6 guy for Korpisalo!? I really hope they make some kind of trade for a top 6 guy who can score!? It'd be great if they'd only have to give up Korpisalo for a top 6 guy!? They've gotta do something more than what they've done so far!!?? They'd better give the younger guys decent shots this season too!? The younger guys need the experience and Bruins need some new blood and some speed!!?? If they don't make some kind of crazy move and/or have an insanely good/lucky season and somehow become a legit cup contender then they'd might as well just tank the season and try to get McKenna!? If there's no chance of them being much better than a middle of the team then they might as well just tank season and add more talent to prospect pool!!??

  3. Zacha is gonna get traded. I got a Marchand jersey 3 days before he got traded, I got a Taylor Hall jersey 2 weeks before he was traded, I got an Ullmark jersey 3 months before he was traded, and I just got a Zacha jersey

  4. You just imagining these trades ? You dream this stuff because sounds like you just make crap up for viewers ? Whos your insider ? Laundry jock cleaner guy ?
