Don't buy that… period! He's talking out of his a^s
Nick Kypreos is right for now, and think you this update according to Crosby situation & his agent provide his interest are would he argee to it conversation any team who need to rebuild cap space peace together his laddership their to be playoffs solid contender would make sense but unfortunately Toronto will be perfect impossible fit will make difference. Playoffs spot does matter.
Until the guy ask for a trade just let him be. Why is everyone trying to live his life for him? No wonder players don't want to play in Canada
I would offer them roy mathsonn and a frist round pick and nothing more he's still good but he's 37 go habs
I'm really struggling with how I feel about a 38 year old Crosby joining the Habs. Even with Sid, I don't think he Habs are ready to contend for the cup yet. They should be a solid contender within the next three years. By then however, Sid, who I love by the way, will be in his 40s. So yeah, I really don't know how to feel lol.
If he played for the Habs would be thrilled. He could really mentor and lead our offense as well as maybe even help Suzuki develop into a better captain.
Now being a realist the odds of this happening is very thin and would not rely or set any expectations for this to happen.
There is the veteran to help teach the kids what it takes.
It’s Time Sid The Kid To Leave Penguins And Join Childhood Montreal Canadiens.
Why would he go to a team with no chance to win a cup
i think it might be next off season like when rust and rackell and karlsson and geno gone i think sid might ask for trade
he gonna go to the avs to play with the nate dog
has anything krypeos said actually happen?
Never gonna happen
it would be a good cinderela end of career for Sidney Crosby. at 37 still in the top pointers of the NHL. Crosby will make players better in Mtl. but does Sid the kid want such a trade?
just bring in malkin for a year–put him second line center and live with it
I love the idea, but the only sense of Colorado even given up on Raton was to maybe even just hope to get Crosby is my death if your management of the Colorado avalanche
You guys, if Crosby is going anywhere, he is going to the Blues. St. Louis is where legends come at the end of their careers. Our oceanfront view at the Arch, mountainesque terrain of Eureka, and the thrill-seeking drive through downtown STL past midnight cannot be topped by any market. You heard it here first. Plus, our zoo is free.
He’s not leaving Pittsburg, these rumours happen all the time, he’s finishing his career as a penguin, he is likely to pass Mario in points next season and become the penguins all time leader scorer, he has played his entire career there, he has 3 cups, he was won everything there is to win, now I’m a habs fan, I would want nothing more then Crosby to come and play here, but honestly, I have 0 faith he leaves, I think it’s very likely he signs a 2 year deal after this one expires and he plays his final years in Pittsburg and will have the chance to potentially be a top 5 scorer all time in nhl history
he went from Sid the went to Sid the old fart
I can’t believe it, what a crazy day that would be.
Never gonna happen… If anything this talk just makes him want to stay put even more and probably just pisse$ him off.
If Sid goes anywhere it will be the avalanche.
Sid’s doing exactly what Sid wants to, he’s going to captain the Penguins until he retires. He’s earned the right to do whatever he wants and he’s doing just that.
I like Sid and all, but this will only be a good move for both parties if the Habs are a top 5 contender and want that extra "oomph" to win it all. Otherwise, forget it – the cost for the Habs to get Sid will be too high, especially when it may be for only one season.
I agree the Olympics will reveal lots, where the Habs are, and what Sid's level of desire to win a 4th cup will be after the tournament. Speculation will be useless before this.
