Marc-André Fleury (who is very much retired) had offers on July 1! 😅 #AgentProvocateur #nhl #hockey

  1. Kind of hope Montreal was part of those 5, but im ok if not. We might have had the best chance tho 😅

  2. since demko got signed the oilers are absolutely fucked when it comes to goaltending.

they lost john gibson, they lost demko and now they have no other options.

  3. Yeah as a goalie father I gotta say….there is no reason why goalies should pay for travel. In beer league, goalies are treated with reverence and respect. They never pay.

You expect fathers to shell out all these fees then have to deal with puberty which can be difference of jr to int or int to senior where payday literally cost $2000 for leg pads…they need tough chest protector, helmet must be strong enough for their age group (must be able to withstand bantam age shots, for example).

If youth hockey really wanted to fix goalie problem then do that because we pay for personal goalie coach already and goalies don’t grow because teams don’t have one at practices. They are just seeing pucks

  4. Let me show you my surprised face. lol. And this is coming from someone that was prolly one of Flowers biggest haters.
Edit: I do kind of hope he would sign a 1 day contract to retire a Penguin. But I dnt see him doing that or having any thoughts of doing something like that unless he does all the teams he played for cuz he deserves to be retired individually from all of them.

  5. Glad to see its not just my local beer league with a shortage of tendies. Everyone wants to be a goalie until its time to do goalie things.

  6. I’ve been saying since last year that Flower saying “just one more year” and unretiring would be the ultimate prank.

  7. He's not coming back….. He has nothing to prove…it was hard enough for him to retire… In the 1st place

  8. Although the Leafs risk parting ways with one of their goalies in (Woll/Stolarz) -if they want a top 6 center, + avoid giving up another top prospect in Easton Cowan, they may need to consider it, if there is an offer made
