Dylan Cozens describes his playoff debut as: “the best feeling I’ve ever had in my life”
your first playoff game. Is there nervous energy or is it anxiousness? What’s that like to be in that first game? I think a lot of anxiousness. You know, I it took 5 years for me to get my first playoff game in. So, I’ve been thinking about it for a long time. And uh I couldn’t really sleep the night before. I just wanted to get get going and get started. But, uh I think that like right before that game started, I was just sitting in the room and my adrenaline was pumping like crazy. I’d never felt like that before. Like I’ve never had that feeling in my life. I remember just running out and seeing all the towels, you know, waving and just I was so fired up. Like I I don’t know. I don’t know. I can’t even describe the feeling. I’ve never felt that way before, but it was probably the best feeling I’ve ever had in my life. What was your biggest takeaway from that first round? Like looking back at it now, like what was the thing that you learned the most coming out of that series? I think just how, you know, every single play matters. you know, you make one turnover and u you know, it could cost you could cost you that game and just how tough it is to to get any offense going. I think you know, they they they did really good at you know, locking it down and not giving us much at all and uh it seemed those goals were just right in the paint or around the net. Yeah, I think just every every single play matters.
