they've started to make changes to the forward group, but really very little change in the Dcore.
Sanheim, York, Drysdale, Risto, Seeler, Zamula, Andrae (same old, same old) and the new role players in Juulsen and Gilbert. The Dmen in the pipeline all seem to be at least a year away. I don't think anyone thinks that these Dmen are playoff caliber as a group, so at some point Danny will have to try to upgrade through trades and/or free agent signings.
York can play PP1 .. he will surprise a lot of people this season.. he’s a highly skilled player

Didn't like the York deal at all. He , for me, needed a show me deal, 1 or 2 years, and go from there. He was in Torts' doghouse because he sucked, let's be real. Our defense is far too soft as well

I think he’s going to have a bounce back season and get back on the right path but I don’t think he’ll ever be 1st pair and that’s fine. He captained a gold medal world junior team and was loved by all his teammates. I think he’ll wear an A on his chest someday and be a solid contributor on ice

Martone like Michkov is a scorer who has great vision and passing ability & the future 1st line (M&M) will be sick and hopefully Zegras can center them!!!
Now the Gauthier trade is fully complete so let's see in a few years how we fared with Drysdale & Murtagh, which this pick in itself already made me feel much better in our return and just imagine Drysdale's game improving w/ hi best bud here… Much more than it did last summer w/ just an injured Drysdale to show for it :-///
