    I remember the good old days, the 70s and 80s and 90s. I remember McLaren showing up with multiple engines I think it was 10 engines per weekend. Practice engine, qualifying engine, Sunday race engine, rain, qualifying engine, rain, Sunday, final race engine. I remember teams had to have engine supplied, buy companies like Honda and Peugeot, and they had to lease 20 engines at a cost of $500,000 per engine, this was 20 or 30 years ago. Today, I think they have to have an engine last for a quarter of the season, one engine for practice, qualifying, sprint, race, and Sunday final, week after week..
    here today for the past few years, teams are only a lot of three engines for the entire season per car. That’s one of the reasons they are not revving past 13,000 RPMs. Back in the good old days they were approaching 20,000 RPMs. They did this to reduce cost for the teams. The funny thing is, lap times on the same tracks as the old cars ran on our quicker, partially because they went to the widest tires ever, which must be murder on the drivers neck.
    One thing I hated at first, but now I’m glad they did. It is the rollbar halo..

    BRING BACK V10 IF YOU WANT ANOTHER 2 BILLION VIEWERS! YOUR VIEWERS HAVE INCREASED IN F1 BECAUSE THE WHOLE WORLD CAN ACCESS THE TV AND THE INTERNET! NOW IMAGINE IF WE STILL HAD THE V10 ENGINES!
