  1. First off I'm not sure how someone can be a fan of more than one team, I find that totally foreign to me but maybe that's a thing with people who haven't played a sport at an elite level and lack that competitive spirit?

As for Hughes and the Habs I'm sorry but I don't buy any of the hype.
Zach is a bottom six forward and while Logan likely never reaches it, he's got top four potential and that's worth a lot more than a guy who likely regresses next season.
Dobson was such a dumb trade especially with the contract given since try already have an offensive Dman who needs to be heavily sheltered.
Dobson on the Habs will likely be a 40-45 point meh defensively guy making 9.5 million.

Carrier is nothing but a bottom pairing guy so please tell me how all these moves are so great?

    Hughes drafted Slaf over Cooley,
    Reinbacher over Matvei
    and traded for Dach.

He still hasn't aquired a true #1 Goalie, Dman or Centre and I'm sorry but they made the playoffs only because the east was so friggen weak and a few guys way overachieved.

I'm sure I'll get roasted here but let's come back to this halfway through the season when Hutson who can't be sheltered now that Dobson is there and needs to be sheltered as well and their forward group will regress back to the norm as well.

  2. This kids videos have always had very gay undertones but this is getting out of hand. Glazing some old white dude everyday is wild.

  3. Instead of 1st round pics #16 & 17, You should mention, Victor Eklund and Kashwn Aitcheson…and the reason that's important is, that's who the Isladers picked up at # 16 & 17…Somehow Eklund slid down that far & Aitcheson wound up being a surprise pick there also…Not that Hughes hasn't done well, but the future success of Eklund & Aitcheson, has yet to be determined…

  4. habs cannot sign all those prospects. They must use some in a trade for a 2nd centerman. Nanaheim ducks could be a trade partner both temas have needs that can complement each other.

  5. Only poor trade was Kovacevic for a 4th

On poor pick Mesar ( but still time to develop )

    Hughes and Gorton batting .900

  6. On top of the in/out pieces…..the first round picks out, Hughes still got one of his targeted picks at 16/17 in the second round. This is absolutely wild.

  7. The Habiturds will still not win the Cup as long as Florida stays stacked like they are. Sorry, Maple Leaves and Habiturd may have to wait quite a while. And oh, not to mention the up and coming Islanders and Senators….the East is stacked.

  8. WOH! for cereal, for sure…2025 just sneaked in playoffs; with the Savage Card; 17 over all; for 2026… 14 th! and a couple of play off rounds ! CONTENDER in 4 years..
