Winnipeg Jets end of season media availability: Josh Morrissey

Not an easy playoffs for Jets top pairing Dman Josh Morrissey who dealt with concussion protocol after Game 7 and then a situation that didn’t require surgery after his leg got caught under Mikko Rantanen but would have cost him the playoffs.

In addition to the personal injury he also had to be there for best friend Mark Scheifele who lost his dad Brad ahead of Game 6, a situation that sadly Josh is familiar with.

He also spoke about the season, the accomplishments, the hunger for a deeper playoff run next season and much more.

  1. This team will be back. So proud of the Jets and what they accomplished this season. This team is on the right track and going to be a serious threat in the playoffs for years to come.

  2. Love to hear about Josh and Mark's friendship. Glad they have such a good bond. Let's go get it next year, proud of the entire team for what they accomplished this year but they aren't done yet.

  3. Yeah, I know that you were frustrated about missing 4 Nations final, Game 7, rest of Game 6 😔. It's super disappointing, but the Olympics are coming up, and more playoffs in the future. 🙂👍 Chin up, keep the faith! 🤗🙏 I hope you heal real well and have a really good rest this summer! You deserve it! 🙂🙏 You know, when I see you, KC, and Mark out there for overtimes I have so much faith in you guys! 😀🤗🙏 I know that you can always beat any team! 🏆 Keep on killing it out there! 😀👏

  4. Gotta say, I love my Winnipeg Jets even more after this year. It was a heartbreaking end to the season, but i’m so proud of how they played this year and fought through everything. I’m gonna be sporting a Scheifele jersey at home games next year, so much respect for him over the past couple of years.
