The New York Rangers have done a pretty good job over the last year or so to try and make some real changes with the roster. They made a total of 10 trades since the beginning of the 2024 offseason up until the 2025 NHL trade deadline in March and in today’s video we take a look at each of those deals individually.

Nobody can accuse Chris Drury of not trying. I don't think he's a great GM but at least he's aware of this teams weaknesses and attempting to correct them on the fly. You can tell he truly cares about his job.
I liked the Kakko & Lindgren trades as they turned out potentially really good. The JT Miller trade was good, but I wished the Rangers had taken that #12 pick & took Smith or Aitcheson. I wondered about the Raddysh signing, but we'll see how he makes out. Dorrington is a real sleeper IMO. He played a few games in Hartford & he did not looked overmatched at all. The prospect I really love is Noah Laba, a big guy who is a complete player who hopefully will excel at Hartford. I saw Trey Fix-Wolansky play last year & he was 2nd star of the game. He's probably going to play with the Pack, but he has some legitimate skills to be a call-up.
Salvation doesn't come by trades alone.
Team needs leadership and identity. Last off season the GM undermined the Captain and an Alernate with his treatment of Trouba and Goodrow. Do better!
Team needs accountability. Last season people didn't perform and some seemed to quit… yet nobody got sat. Same tired quitters ruining game after game, while young guys who'd give 100% seldom played.
