I agree that Bump needs to go to the AHL, but it’s a little unfair to criticize him for not setting the AHL on fire after he was probably toast after his college season and playoffs winning the frozen 4. That would be a lot to ask of him at that point after what he just accomplished.
What’s that you say? You want to know what MY nemesis of the week is? Well, it’s very kind of you to ask! My nemesis concerns the stream of the Sunday scrimmage game. The video quality was about the worst I’ve ever seen. Anywhere. The resolution was just high enough to see a smudge on the screen for each player. You couldn’t see the lines on the ice. Absolutely awful. And this from the world’s fourth biggest telecommunications company. They could have streamed a better picture over a 2400 baud AOL dialup connection. How does this happen? Whose head is going to roll? Oh, right, it’s just the Flyers so it doesn’t really matter. I hope the quality we “saw” today isn’t a harbinger of the quality we can expect from the team this season.

?? You both ripped the FLyers for trading up to get Nesbitt!?!? Now you say the Flyers did well to get him? C'mon now don't be flip floppers. He is known for his defense. His game has been improving by leaps and bounds as he grows into his body. But you guys both destroyed the pick during your draft review. Bottom line he was the best Center left and the Flyers went up and got him. He will star in the next 2 Juniors Tournys. You both will be glad we have him.
