Why on earth do people keep putting JT on the 3rd line ?! Hahaha HE IS THE 2ND LINE CENTRE.
He scored 36 goals and 75pts in 76 games last year he and Nylander are a perfect fit together (Nylander ended up with 2nd most goals in NHL playing with JT, nearly hitting). JT is staying 2nd line centre …. I'm not sure where people are getting this idea that Roy is a top 6 player lol. He is not.
Why on earth are you putting a 4th line centre on a championship level team over him as 2nd line centre. That is not and will not ever happen lol. He is going to be the 3rd line on this team.
Also you absolutely do not need to include Cowan in a Tuch trade – he is a UFA year next year and already told buffalo he won't be resigning – not a chance Cowan moves in that trade – or are you talking about a sign and trade? If not – buffalo said they want roster players – perfect place to send Kampf or Jarnkrok plus low end prospects or low picks.
Also don't put Tuch in Robertson in same category – Robertson is 5x better and much younger and is NOT a UFA a next year, he is a RFA – yes he takes a Carlo…. buffalo DOES NOT want prospects like Cowan. Adams and mentioned that 100 times my friend.
Robertson would be a masssssssive add to play RW on that top line…. Tuch is way too much like Knies and again has one year left and is a UFA…. he takes very little to acquire… Buffalo is clearly asking to much currently – that's why he hasn't been moved. What they will likely do if they don't get the package they want – they will keep him until deal line and trade him as a rental.
But again – Robertson and Tuch aren't even in the same stratosphere…. Robertson is a young superstar that is an RFA next summer – Tuch is a worse version of Knies who is 1 year player as he is a UFA and will be signing in USA next year – unless he is dirty cheap to acquire and you are able to dump Kampf or Jarnkrok in the deal – stay away from him. Not a fit.
Also, I hate how they are F'ing around with Stolarz and haven't even discussed an extension – what a slap in the face to him – Edmonton is likely already tampering to get him to try and keep McDavid – the Leafs NEED to have the Woll and Stollie tandem locked in asap so that McDavid knows he is going to a team that finally has goalies who can win a cup. If he goes to free agency – Edmonton signs him 100% and McDavid stays

Kampf to a non contender for a pick or future consideration. Jarncrock the same or a buyout. No more overpaid crap. Fill the spots from within, save some $$ and scout scout scout. Free agents can still sign in November, no hurry to make a mistake. You cannot deal Cowan until he's been given a good look with a decent sample size. Remember the 'great' Tuuka Rask trade.
So here are some players I’d like to see Leafs target: Laferriere (LAK), Nadeau (Canes), Pospisil (Cal), L’Heureux (Nash), Othmann (NYR).

Trading Domi is not a good move. You out of all people should know you don’t trade the dogs on your team. Especially when he’s only making 3m. Please explain how you find this benefitting.
