Ehlers, a highly-skilled winger, joins the Hurricanes after a standout 10-year career with the Winnipeg Jets. In the 2024-25 season, he scored 24 goals and 39 assists, totaling 63 points. Ehlers has consistently been a top performer, including a career-high 29 goals in the 2017-18 season.
General Manager Eric Tulsky expressed excitement about Ehlers joining the team, highlighting his skating ability and fit with the Hurricanes’ forward group. Ehlers has represented Denmark in multiple international competitions and brings a wealth of experience and skill to Carolina.
