  1. My wishlist at the start of 2025 season were Boeser, Sam Benett and Orlov… Im glad the Sharks at least got one

  2. It is like Grier is just kicking the can down the road. I don't see how adding a completely washed-up defensemen and another on a steep decline will bolster the defense. All this does is get the organization to the salary floor!

  3. Mac is 19 and he's the face of SJ like Thornton before him or Nolan before him. The time table is likely going to align with Mac. I figure a 22 year old Mac is the youngest possible version to be a deep playoff leader with each year after that being more and more likely and a 26-28 year old Mac possibly hoisting a cup. That's my feelings.

  4. As a Sharks fan from the beginning, I hope for the best each year but realistically these two D additions are barely going to move the needle. Orlov is an older Walman, and even with Walman producing the team still tanked.
If the stars align and Askarov, Dickinson and the rest of the D can play up to their potential, combined with the added offense to turn last season's league-leading one goal losses into wins, anything could happen…

  5. Guys, most FAs don't want to come to the Sharks right now. The Sharks are stacked at young forward prospects.
