Brad Marchand Compares Pasta, Charlie McAvoy to These Bruins Legends
yeah I talked to Pasa um I haven’t talked to Chuck he’s tried to reach out a couple times and and uh I talked to him there we’re going to we’re going to link up here today but uh you know been the pass a long time um seen him go from you know a little boy to a one of the best players in the world it’s it’s been incredible to see but they both lead in different ways and and I think they’re you know especially together the way I look at that is like a Bergie z type thing where you know they’re they’re co- co-leaders where they they have different things that uh different ways they can lead and um but you know they they’ve been around uh they’ve seen it and uh you know the way that ZM burgie have have you know built that culture and and what’s expected every single day so complete faith in those guys to carry on you know that culture and Legacy and and continue to add to it not just carry it but um you know you got to leave it better than you found it and that’s one thing that I especially with the term those guys are on um and how young they are I think they have a great opportunity ahead of them to to kind of carve their own path and and uh build a legacy that that they’re excited about and and and lead the way that they want to that’s what Z did when he came in is is he had an idea of of how he wanted to lead and how he wanted to change things and he put it in motion and then Bergie came in and the two of them just took over and and did their thing so um those guys have that opportunity to do the same thing now
After being traded to the Florida Panthers, Brad Marchand discusses his relationships with Charlie McAvoy and David Pastrnak and how he feels they’re ready to step-up in leadership roles for the Boston Bruins.
