GAA means shit. Save % and goals above expected are always a better indicator. To give an example: Kahkonen with the Devils had a 0.923% save and a 2.51 GAA in 6 games. How many games the Devils win in those 6 games? 1.
I cant imagine a world where they trade Price's contract, he is retiring a habs no matter what

Habs players are taking less money for the game of being more competitive. Dobes seems to understand this because it is now team culture. If Strubble gets too greedy, he will be made an example of. Hugh’s et al run a very serious tight ship. They will not waiver.

Develop Fowler properly , a few years in minors, getting comfortable with being a professional, get him into a routine , work on the weaknesses

Struble was a decent partner for Hutson, he shined playing the physical role but with every studs coming in the lineup (Reinbacher/ Dobson) he's just not a n°6 anymore
No, I like Struble but he needs to get signed close to league min. Closer to Dobes.

I believe your 100% wrong saying Dobes will remain Canadiens backup this season. Kahkonen will be Monty's backup with his veteran presence while Dobes and Fowler can progress their game together down in Laval. Dobes had a great run when he was first called up but did crack a bit after that and had signs of a young goalie the rest of the way, The Canadiens won't rush either of their 2 young netminders. The league is changing to much more tandum goaltending duos then a team with a clear #1 & backup. Partners or Duos whatever you like to call it is the wave of the future….
I think we need Struble an Xhekaj for defense options and depth.
