  1. Avs and Knights Fans Rejoice are the Circus going on in Dallas 🎪 🤡 you let an Undefeated Coach in Game 7s go what Stupidity 🤦

  2. So youre saying as an avs fans. Theres a chance we can move past dallas next year ? No? Fine…. first or second round exit again. Still mad about game 7 😢.

  3. Now maybe with the coach excise out of the way we can actually hold some players accountable. And there are several.

  4. Maybe getting rid of Pete is a bad idea maybe not but if he doesn’t have the players backing him up he just doesn’t have a team

  5. Hopefully the new coach brings in a better goalie or at least one that can be more consistent in the playoffs the farther you go. I agree with the decision though. You can’t make it to the 3rd round 3 years in a row and lose every time. Stars should have won a cup last year or this year and didn’t. Producing the same result won’t get you anywhere in the playoffs. Stars are one piece away coaching and player wise to get there. Gotta have that extra push in that 3rd round we don’t have yet. It’s time.

  6. As a Devils fan, I think this was a senseless firing. Over the last eight years how many times has Deboer been in the conference finals? Several times! How many coaches in history can boast that? Back to the Devils thing – the last time they were truly relevant were the 2012 playoffs, where it was Deboer who finally beat the Rangers in a series, and won the Eastern Conference Championship.

Unfortunately, IMHO, this speaks more of American culture: "I did not get quite what I wanted YESTERDAY and I am not happy, while everybody else is just waiting to see what will happen tomorrow."

    Good grief!!!

  7. You should of fired all the old hockey players that have been there the last 5 – 10 years. Like Ben who didn’t show up like every playoff game.

  8. Imagine firing a coach that made it too ECF 3 years in a row…absurd… your not going to make it further next year stupid executives

  9. Nill never willingly reveals his cards, but I find it telling that he confirmed all the other coaches (assistants) will return for next season. That means they will be hiring internally. It will be one of the assistants or Neil Graham. Any external hire would want to pick his own assistants.

  10. The Stars' non emphasis on hitting needs to change. We had one of the bigger lineups in the league and squandered it by playing soft. Look at the 2 remaining teams. Highly physical high talent teams. Strategic hitting opens up lanes for others. Get this thru your head Nill

  11. As an avs fan, as much as i love bednar for getting us a cup, i wish we would just sign our boogie man and have deboer behind our bench. Probbaly would lead us to our next cup.

  12. As a fan of The Stars, The Mavs, The Rangers, FC Dallas and The Cowboys, this does not make sense… he takes the team to 3 straight Western Conference finals and I get it, that is not the ultimate goal… But you have to get there first.. The 10-Billion dollars cowboys can’t get past the first round.. The Mavs trade away their future, the Rangers have no offense, FC Dallas can’t win two games in a row. Now the Stars fire the coach who has taken them to the door of the Stanley Cup finals.

  13. I admire this man’s leadership, articulation, communication, honesty/transparency so much. Wow, what a guy.

  14. Man! Being a coach in the NHL is a tough racket. The team makes the playoffs every season you’re there, this year they make it to the conference finals(again), well…NOT GOOD ENOUGH! I hate these GMs. They’re so unctuous and stupid. Has this guy lost sight of the fact that we’re talking about the DALLAS STARS? An expansion team in a very…VERY non-traditional market. Why can’t you just not fire the coach. Why can’t you just say ‘hey, we had a good run. We definitely overachieved and took it all the way to the conference finals(again). That final game didn’t go our way. The guys got beat by that team up in Edmonton. Ya know, the one captained by CONNOR MCDAVID! Can’t win em all.’ But, nope. You’re gonna go coach shopping….AGAIN! It’ll be very interesting to see how this team performs next year. If they don’t win the conference finals next year, are you going to fire the coach again?
