  1. I don't see anyway to justify the Demko deal. He's played 43% of all regular season games the last 3 years. Hes made of glass and we just gave him 8.5Mil and a nmc.

  2. Fast forward to November 2025: in other news, Demko has been injured and is expected to be out for 12 weeks or more. 😂

  3. I’m not sure how I feel about all these moves , I thought it was pretty obvious this team needed change but we bring back everyone lol. Should not be paying your goalies 13 mill combined while still missing a second line Center. I think it’s a waste to have Demko and Lankinen share the net when they’re both starters , think you pick one and have Silovs backup the other at a cheaper salary

  4. When I heard Demko was signed, all I thought was (🙏) the management must know something that we don't, but 13 million per year on our goalie tandem alone 😲

  5. Any PuckPedia experts out there? Curious why Boeser's deal shows years 2 & 3 as two-way, but his AHL salary is identical to his NHL salary. Isn't the whole point of a two-way contract to reduce pay in the minors? Or is this just a mislabel? Functionally looks like a one-way to me

  6. Sp we signed a bunch of guys that cant even get us to the playoffs longterm so team ownership is saying were going to suck for years 😂😂😂

  7. WOW YIPEEEEE colour me surprised the canucks are THE SAME TEAM AS LAST SEASON tyhey did not improve anywhere they just are the same stagnant bunch with a disgruntled captain that dose not want to be here and no real way to compete even if they make the playoffs it will not be pretty so get used to lots of the same o same o

  8. Honestly, until 5M+ is off the books for EOL after the end of this year and next year, this team won’t be max potential. Major difference paying a mid winger 7M in BB and a #1 winger at 12M+.

  9. I would never want to wish anything bad on a hockey player, but Demko’s health really worries me. He has not proven in the last few years that he can stay healthy, and I am fearing that he is going to be like Cory Schneider in his days with NJ…

  10. A lot of games last season there was less than 10 shots on net midway through the game. This team is built around defence and goalies but it will be extremely painful to watch 60mins

  11. My understanding is that the nature of Demko's injury is that he can never get back to 100%. Is that not correct?
