Yes they are done ….a lousy free agent class we did what we needed to do ….big players next summer
Dunno what Cam York not being signed yet means. I have a feeling he’s probably gone. Crazy new team though. Already giving me a feeling this years team is going to be a contender for the second wild card spot.
None were 'flashy' moves, not well known names. Role players at low risk prices. York was given a qualifying order, but as of yet no response. Just heard that both Risto & Foerstar may miss several months due to injury surgeries & recovery time. Bonk & Martone might get an opportunity quickly.
The PR hype from the spin doctors in the Flyers organisation is going to bang the drum and make the slugs they acquired in FA sound like the team will be turning the corner next season.
The reality is that they will be the worst team in the league, and with the luck that the Flyers have they won't get the top draft pick due to that stupid lottery, they'll probably be getting the tenth pick.
The fact that they drafted a bunch of nasty gigantic players in the draft will make everyone think that the "new era of orange" will mean a return of the "Broad Street Bullies". It's so sad that this organisation, and most of the fanbase can't leave the team that played 50+ years ago in the past.
The new era of orange is just a new era of sucking!
Only move left is the KHL star
They can sign Tiny Thompson, Milt Schmidt, Moose Vasco and Toe Blake. Nothing is gonna work until they put the Kate Smith statue back.
Any updates on Shabanov?
