Torey Krug, defenseman for the St. Louis Blues, got kicked out of the game on Sunday night against the Winnipeg Jets after he went crazy in the penalty box. Krug was given an extra two minutes on the roughing penalty and former NHL’er Darren Pang was in agreeance with Krug that the penalty call was terrible. Does the NHL have an officiating problem? Did Krug deserve the extra penalty? Was his reaction warranted?

Yes, it has for decades, Bettman is a joke. Players play rotation if they aren't performing. The refs also need to be scrutinized, and remove a ref from rotation due to bad performance. In a short while the losers will be weeded out, the same as players. Refs need to be held up o the same standards as the players…As for commissioner of the NHL position, it should be only held by a former NHL employees…not some joke NY basement ( baseball ) executive. I said this 25 years ago on a national radio program….Bettman should be held accountable for the NHL's demise…..
Bettman and possibly some other executives should be impeached …players union needs to get a backbone and go after these losers…I have only watched hockey for 60+ years. Longer than crapmen…
the refing in the NHL has not been good enough for years blatant missed calls to calling someone for something that they don't do. Betman must do something.

The one thing I’ve learned watching hockey is don’t fuck with the refs. Yea they definitely sometimes help the teams they like win. Hell I was at a bruins game and one of the bruins players got absolutely butchered by someone (not fighting sense), plus they keep taking away points that should’ve been a goal like I haven’t seen one team we’ve been up against getting their goal taken away
