  1. Absolutely thrilled with this addition. Spence is just scratching the surface of his potential at 24. Coming off a 28 point season, +28 with 80 hits and 77 blocks. Very solid all around d-man with some great upside. He’s the perfect third pairing guy, who can easily play his way into the top four.

Just got to love how Staios traded down two spots to get our guy Hensler and added Spence who’s on a great contract.

And oooohhh baby do we ever have a lot of depth on defense. Between Yak, Spence, Hensler, there’s going to be a lot of healthy competition over the next few years.

    Steady Steve Staios.
    Sneaky Steve Staios.
    Stealthy Steve Staios.
    🤩🤩🤩

  2. Now sign G. Absolutely need him back. Even if he’s slowing down offensively, he’s still a wizard in the faceoff circle and he’s so valuable as a veteran in the locker room. He wants to be in Ottawa and he wants to win with us.

    Need to get it done.

  3. LFG, BRANDO!! The draft went EXACTLY how Staios wanted it to go. He told us pre draft he might trade back to acquire another asset, and that’s exactly what he did. And he waited until draft time to do that, specifically right before it was our turn, which tells us that there were multiple guys left he still liked. And I do believe, and I even said so before the draft, that Hensler was always his guy to pick in that early 20s draft range. Exactly according to plan.

Then, in day two, he uses that acquired early third rounder as the main piece to acquire a bottom 4 RD, which we knew was the other thing he was trying to accomplish via trade, preferably before free agency. Chefs. Fucking. Kiss. 😚👌 Absolutely perfectly executed by Steady Steve. And then we used our later picks to take larger swings on high risk/high reward skilled type of players, which is what a LOT Of us fans wanted to see, myself included. Man, what a draft. 👏 Congrats all around.

Big ups to Dylan Puchniak and Keller Williams for sponsoring the show. I know exactly where to go if I need help in real estate.

  4. Great trade… no doubt !
    But I don’t think that he’s a top 4 Dmen

Looking forward to what he can do for us.

  5. Tidy work from Staios. Not a blockbuster trade, but definitely a great deal. So it won't make the news in the hockey world, but will make helluva difference for the team

  6. Another piece to the puzzle. Not the biggest d man but there's always a reason when a team moves a player.
If the price is right, a right Dman has value.

  7. DJ Smith didn't like him in LA so he must be really good as experience tells me that Smith wouldn't recognize talent if it bit him in the but. A great deal for the Sens stacking up on the right side. Add Yakumchuck to that right side and things are looking promising for years to come. The problems in the post season were not unique to Spence he actually had better CORSI numbers than Doughty did and played so little it was tough to be engaged in the game.

  8. I never liked spence. He sucks as a defender and cant shoot for shit. I said trade him last year. Finally they get rid of him.
