I wasn’t aware that Florida just became a no state tax state this year. And they’re the only one too! And it’s ok we don’t talk about the massive endorsement deals nobody in FL is getting.

These guys, like all young guys, believe that it's money that cures all. Nope, having enough money is all you need, wanting more and more than enough is a wish that never ends or gets to be enough. Always chasing more than you need is a waste of priorities in life. Figure out how much is enough and stay right there and begin living life, free to enjoy it. The panther players have all figured out that formula. Now they all have enough and love living life right where they are, most with the girl they got, some with kids too and celebrating once a year for there teamwork, win or lose, mostly win these days.
lol this is exactly what I’m talking with the “no state taxes 😡” crowd. This man literally said it’s the no state tax which lead to them staying with the Panthers. Then turns around and says both players could have gotten so much more in the open market. So you’re telling me no state taxes made up an extra 4 mill difference to keep them lol. No my guy. So that means they stayed not for the money but for the life style, culture and a chance at history.

When you use the tax argument you know it makes you look like a morron. How many others teams dont have state tax Nashville Vegas etc. When Tampa and the Panthers were door mats you all said nothing. I don't understand this guy's take. The Panthers are not going anywhere or at least finishing in the Eastern Conference Finals for the next 3-5 years and the salary cap is going up each year. He watched the SCF, if he saw a player on the Panthers that looked a little slow with a 3-5 year window say something on your podcast. I'm sure the Panthers will worry about a player's age and condition in 3-5 years from now. How doesn't this make sense.
Next year UFA's – Mcdavid, Connor, Eichel, Kaprizov – All will be 29, 30, 31. It will be interesting to see what team they go to or stay but they will command at least 12m+ at least AAV and they will run that team into the same "legend" problem if there is one with note on contract.
If he is looking at it from a growth perspective problem, no draft picks or contract years on players with talent but no cap space to extend them, I'm sure the Panthers are more then willing to sacrifice this 5 year window and Bob's contract is coming off next year however he might stay for 1-2 more years at a discount as he doesn't appear to look old at 36.

Canadians in shambles about state taxes are so clueless. Florida, Texas, Nevada have higher property taxes. There are pros and cons to every city/team in the history of sports you imbeciles.
In 2010s EVERY team who won🏆was in state that have income taxes. I’m a Blackhawks fan of 40yrs by the way and respect TF out of what Florida’s ownership & FO has done in 2020s (TB too).
