This was retaliation for a similar play a few minutes before. Stars defense man Robidas poked Corey Perry, who briefly went down before popping up to skate away like nothing was wrong. The refs didn't call a penalty, so Staubitz did this as payback. If anyone thinks Dillon faked this you see the video from the Stars broadcast which shows a red faced Dillon grimacing on the bench. The pain was real.
