  1. It took Lafrenière four NHL seasons to surpass the 45 Points mark.

Cuylle did it in his second season.

If Lafrenière doesn't get his head out of his own butt: Cuylle will out score him, big time, this upcoming season.

  2. Here’s my take on the Keandre Miller trade. Do I think the Rangers did very well and what they got yeah I do but here’s the thing you got two draft choices who haven’t been drafted yet and they’re gonna take 4 to 5 years to ever see whether they’re gonna be any good if they are any good we’ll see got a young guy who was 22 years old. Yeah he might end up being a real good player based upon the projections that we see but here’s the thing Keandre Miller has a lot of talent And the guy if he learned how to play better defense, which I’m guessing one of the assistant coaches of the hurricanes is gonna work on him with if he ends up being a great defensive player or very good one then the canes will have one deal why because he is 25 and he’s got he’s got eight years paid in front of them Now it might be a bust for Carolina all way around if Camry doesn’t feel like working hard and doesn’t play the way he needs to play. He’ll make the coach of Carolina pissed off and it won’t work, but if the guy reaches him and helps him become a better player with his speed and his reach and everything else that he has he could be a great player for Carolina and it will be another one of the New York Rangers stinker of the trades that didn’t workmeanwhile as we wait for the two draft choices to take 4 to 5 years to become good if they ever are see if your trading somebody who is currently here for a future payoff that you hope will work out. That’s my concern.

  3. Dowling will never take Brodzinsky's job.

Dowling was signed for Hartford, and will be behind a lot of prospects; before he sniffs this Rangers roster.

  4. One off the ice reason I like Cuylle was that clip of him on his draft day explaining Star Wars lore and he was just so cool (pun intended) and dorky about being asked it. It’s really tough for some fans to not dehumanize the players and it’s also tough for hockey players especially to not show any personality besides hockey because of the unfortunate stigma of hockey culture.

He just seems like a guy who when he’s passionate regardless of the situation, whether it’s hockey or something like Star Wars, will go out and do the most he can in that moment. Love the type of player he is and hope he is a long term player for the team.
