  1. Johnson was a homesick shell of himself when this fight occurred.I give Willard credit for the effort he put forth but I don’t think he beats a prime Johnson .

  2. According to Havana newspapers, the temperature was in the mid-70s (but with a high humidity). The 100 + degrees was just another Jack Johnson story to excuse his loss.

  3. Awesome video, all coloured up, that's cool. A minor quibble, it was the 26th round, not 25th that Johnson was ko'd. Either way, there's no way he threw that fight. Why wait so long? 🤜🫨🤛

  4. Jack was homesick & out of shape. It is what it is, but Willard wouldn't have been able to live with Johnson at his best, imo. Bless up bro 🥊

  5. I have about a hour of footage of this fight, not the complete fight of course, but the way I see it Johnson really went for a early ko here tossing everything he had at Jess, and Willard took it, Willard would take over by round 15ish lol. And really hurt Johnson in round 24 I think with a good body shot before finishing him in round 26. I will not write Willard off on a prime vs prime fight either, because Jess was made for these long fights if you dont blast him out early.
